I purchased the Airpods 3 as an OPEN BOX item that was supposed to be in Excellent condition because the new or refurbished versions were unavailable. But the quality was not as described and I had to return the item. Then the item came back in stock and I thought I'd try to order them again. But got another pair that were not excellent condition. And then I tried to buy them again, and again. I thought they couldn't possibly send me the wrong quality product time and time again, but after FOUR attempts, I still have not been able to get an item worth keeping. Each time, the "excellent" condition was not correct. One time, the Airpods were still connected to someone else's apple account and could not be paired to my phone. One time it had the wrong charging cable, another time it did not have a charging cable at all. One time it was very scuffed and not in great condition, two times the inside of the charging case was dirty. It was just a mess and very disappointing, like the employees did not inspect the item properly. But what made the situation even worse is that I tried complaining to customer service and they did absolutely nothing. They did not seem to care that Best Buy failed to meet their own standards for quality and did nothing to rectify the negative experience, even after it happened multiple times. I am very frustrated with the service and disappointed at the items I received. I cannot offer a review of how good the sound is or how comfortable the earbuds fit, as I did not use or keep this item. This is just a review of the poor quality control when ordering an open box item.

Apple never dissapoimts when it comes to crisp audio and solid bass

I love these. I dont know why people say it hurts their ears. I wear these all the time and they dont fall out. They hook up immediately and show the battery percentage when opening the case. That was the only problem with the airpods pro 2 I had so they were returned. These no problems!
