I love my Air pods, it was a terrific deal, can't wait till she opens it. She was using the wired pods and didn't realize they weren't working right and everyone was listening to her content.

Good all-round earbuds

Go with an over-the-ear true headphone is sound quality and good low end is that important to you. However, for convenience, portability/wearability, and overall functionality these can't be beat.

The sound and the battery are fine, but I think I'll buy a set of the first generation of these earphones since those do fit well in the ear and don't fall out.
