These buds do not cancel out outside noise. It makes your surrounding very transparent, so you can still hear other things with it on. This was the excellent replacement I needed for work and traveling as I can still hear what is going on in my surround without taking off the buds.

But after using them for awhile, these are hands down the best earbuds ive ever used!

They have a great battery life, and the charging is phenomenal. Only thing I dislike is sometimes they fall out of my ears during a hard workout. Non the less would buy again if I lost them. Would go with the pro.

I think a bit overprice but the quality might make up for the price. Compared to the 1st generation, this are very good!
