recently upgraded to the AirPods 4 and I’m super impressed. The new design fits my ears more comfortably than previous versions (they don’t fall out easily anymore!), and the sound quality is noticeably richer with deeper bass and clearer vocals. Battery life is solid. I get around 5 hours per charge with ANC off and a little less when it’s on, but the case charges super fast with USB-C, which is a huge upgrade for me. I also love that the case has a little speaker now so I can ping it from Find My when I lose it (which happens more than I’d like to admit). Only downside: no volume control on the buds themselves, but I just ask Siri or use my Apple Watch. Overall, I’m really happy with these. If you’re between AirPods 3 and Pro, the AirPods 4 with ANC hit the sweet spot — stylish, simple, and sound amazing.

Excellent choice of an Apple earbuds. The packaging was superior. Many layers of protection. It fits in my ear comfortably and does not fall out with every turn of my head as I used to experience with a previously owned earbuds. The sound quality is beyond my expectations. The issue I have is that they sometimes fall from my ear if I tilt my head or move around a lot, though if you’re wanting to have a more secured fit, the Airpods Pro 3 is more for you. Transparency mode is also super handy when you want to hear what’s happening around you without taking them out. Sound-wise, they deliver balanced audio with richer bass compared to the originals. They aren’t “audiophile-level,” but for everyday use—music, podcasts, calls—they’re excellent. The adaptive EQ subtly adjusts sound depending on your ear fit, which makes them feel more personalized. On the practical side, the battery life is solid but not groundbreaking: about 4.5–5 hours of listening with noise cancellation on, and the case gives you multiple recharges. The MagSafe/wireless charging case is a nice touch if you like cable-free charging. For calls, the microphones are strong, and people can hear you clearly, though wind can still be an issue. The fit is customizable thanks to the different tip sizes, and they’re quite comfortable for long use. Sweat and water resistance (IPX4) also makes them gym-friendly. Downsides? They’re pricey, and if you’re not in the Apple ecosystem, you lose some of the seamless magic like instant pairing or audio switching between devices. Also, the battery in the buds and case will degrade over time, and replacement isn’t super cheap.
