They used the old apple made charging cable for 6 or 7 years after every other company switched to type-C. I bought these for my girlfriend who has a iPhone from a couple of years ago & now she needs 2 different charges because Apple cared about the bottom line more than giving their customers a good experience

Great Upgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These were such a good upgrade from the older generation airpods - better noise cancelling, comfortable ear support, charging lasts A LOT longer. The only complaint is they don't have the tap capability to change to the next song or pause like the older ones did. Overall, good purchase - would buy them again.

Only bought this cause they where on sale for $99 and can see why you have to tap in a specific spot which is hard to do and just overall not satisfied
