Noticed is current airpods were worn out and I am pretty sure they did not have the live translation feature. I wasn't sure what to give him when I walked in but when I saw them on sale just under $100, it was a no brainer. I call it a win.

The convenience is great although I think $40 for sound isolation is a bit pricey for something that should already be built in.

I can’t remember how many I’ve purchased over the years. They never disappoint as the perfect gift. myself I’ve never tried them as I am deaf. That’s the funniest part about this review. However the recipients love them.
