I upgraded from gen 3 regular AirPods. The ANC is nice but I don’t get a lot of use since I tend to have one in at a time. The battery life isn’t as good as my older pair, but it makes sense since there are new features. Overall no real complaints.

Best pair I’ve had , best fit and comfortable , I’ve had the pro 1st gen and 2nd gen , these are better in my opinion

The active noise cancellation is pretty decent ( I can still hear the loud voices of the fake gym goers though) and the soundis just better compared to older gens, my biggest issue is that it dies significantly quicker that my Gen 3s fast charging would. The batteries on the 3 are significantly better but 4 has better audio. They fit in my ears bettercompared to the 3, thats for sure

This ain't no AirPods Pro, but you knew that already. Sound quality is acceptable, and at the discounted price point during the holiday season, it is a good package. Battery life may be an issue over time, but for now, it's rated at 4.5+ hrs. ANC at this price point is pretty good. It is definitely a good upgrade from previous generations. Sound is better in the midrange, which is perfect for vocals, guitars, etc. If you want impactful bass for hip hop and such, not a good fit. Bottom line, if you really get this at a discount (I got mine for $99), it changes the perspective and makes the ROI a whole lot better.

Battery lasts a long time but not as long as other headphones that try to compete. Sound quality is really, really good. Noise cancellation is wonderful. Highly recommend.

I ended up going with the Apple AirPods Pro with noise cancellation, and honestly, I was impressed right out the gate. The performance was on point. The noise cancellation actually does what it’s supposed to do—it blocks out distractions and lets you focus, whether you’re on a call or just listening to something. Call quality was a big upgrade too. Everything sounded clear on both ends, and I didn’t get a single complaint while using them hands-free. That alone made a big difference compared to what I dealt with before. Overall, they delivered exactly what I expected and then some. If you’re looking for something reliable with solid performance, these are definitely worth it.

So far I really like the new AirPods 4 with ANC. I didn't like the AirPods pro they hurt my ears and had a high pitch wining noise. With the Airpods 4 ANC I get the noise cancellation and they are comfortable to wear.

Let me just say – these are a HUGE upgrade. I’ve had AirPods with ANC before, but the fit on these 4th gen models is noticeably better than the Pro version. The noise cancellation is fantastic, really blocking out distractions, and the overall comfort is top-notch. If you’re looking for a reliable, comfortable pair of AirPods with great ANC, these are it. Highly recommended.

Voice isolation makes call sound crisp even in noisy places. Around 5 hours per charge, up to 30 hours with case. I must say it is light weight, open-fit design and great for long wear without ear fatigue. The sound quality is top notch with clear vocals and balanced audio with improved clarity thanks to Apples H2 chip. Instant pairing and smooth switching across Apple devices is another feature that I liked. If you want comfortable, everyday earbuds with solid sound and apple ecosystem magic, Airspods 4 are a great pick. But if you care about deep bass or strong noise cancellation, you might want to consider higher-end options.
