The noise cancelling is amazing, it actually works great. You are unable to hear ANY outside noise. The sound quality is great and no static or anything. They sound great and is just as described. However, on my end the air pods battery life did not last. I would have to charge them 2-3 time throughout the day. I might’ve gotten a defective one. I don’t think would be fair to give a low rating in case it was defective. Will be returning them we’ll see. I had them over a month.

These AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation are terrific. Just for curiosity, I put on an easy listening Amazon prime music channel (not my favorite music) while running a leaf blower in my back yard. The noise cancellation is phenomenal and the sound quality is terrific. The sound was as if I was sitting in a private concert...while running a "quiet" leaf blower. Amazing....best AirPods I've owned.

As far as headphones go, these are just middle of the road ok. They will never be half as good as a decent pair of over the ear noise cancellation headphones. They are ok for what they are if you don’t expect too much. I do like that they are portable. The worst part of these, for me, is the horrible Bluetooth range - I go further than around 15 ft and they start cutting out. Turning off noise cancellation doesn’t help. My old pair of gen 2 have much better Bluetooth range. I overcame this by just playing music straight off my watch paired directly to the headphones instead of through the phone. If I do need more range, I have to pull out the Bose headphones.

The air pod 4s with noice cancellation work well. There are different settings. Very easy to switch between. They do not come with a charging cord - guess we have enough of them. But what I missed was the choice of flexible ear buds. I have smaller ear canals, so these do slip out from time to time.

Wife lives the noise cancelling feature. Her ears can’t fit the pro.

These are probably one of the best pair of airpods I've purchased. The noise cancellation feature is amazing! I would recommend to any and everyone!
