I’ve been using the AirPods 4 with noise cancellation for a couple of months now, and they’ve honestly exceeded my expectations. The first thing that stood out to me was how comfortable they are. I Have been using these airpods for around 9 months now and they work perfectly and just as expected. Super comfortable on the ear and hard to make it slip off. Long battery life provides enough time to go fish any activity with them in wether it work and chores they are perfect for any occasion. Not to mention the noise cancellation that works just as expected.

Bass is present and punchy for non–in-ear-sealed earbuds, and while it’s not overwhelming, it’s more than enough for everyday listening. Music, podcasts, and phone calls all sound noticeably better compared to older generations. Call quality has also been solid. Voices come through clear on both ends, and background noise is handled well, even when I’m outside or in a busier environment. For work calls and everyday phone conversations, they’ve been reliable. The seamless Apple integration is where these really shine. Pairing is instant, switching between Apple devices is effortless, and everything just works. Battery life has been more than enough for a full day of on-and-off use, and the case charges quickly and is easy to throw in a pocket. Overall, the AirPods 4 are a great choice if you want comfortable, great-sounding earbuds that don’t get in the way. They’re not meant to replace high-end noise-canceling headphones, but for everyday use, they’re incredibly convenient and polished. Upgraded from version 2 and immediately noticed a massive improvement in sound quality, background noise reduction, battery life, comfort and overall quality.

There are two ways to compare the AirPods 4 ANC. One way is as an upgrade from the AirPods 3 and the other is comparing to the AirPods Pro 2. Compared to the 3, these are a significant upgrade. Sound quality has improved, the case has additional features, and battery life is on par with the 3. The case itself is noticeably smaller. I find the fit to be excellent and I like these better than the silicon tips of the AirPods Pro 2. Features like ANC and Transparency mode are new to the baseline AirPods. Considering that these don’t have a tight seal, the ANC is quite good. External sounds can still be heard, but are considerably muted…especially if the sound is a steady. Comparing to the AirPods Pro 2, the Pros have much better active noise cancellation, will have the ability to act as hearing aids, and the sound quality is slightly, but noticeably better. The controls on the Pros are more robust. The battery life of the Pros is better by about an hour or so. But the AirPods 4 ANC is more comfortable to wear for long periods of time for me. After an hour or so, I find the silicon tips to be a little irritating. I am very happy with the acquisition of my AirPods 4 ANC and I wear them in low volatility noise situations with great delight!

The balanced, dynamic sound profile is significantly better than previous AirPods. The AirPods 4 with ANC offer great noise reduction. I love it ! I'm able to use it for 5 hours of listening per charge and around 25-30 hours total with the case offers all-day use without frequent recharging.

So I'm coming from the Airpod Pro 2's, decided to give these a try because I felt I never got a good fit in my ear with the silicone tips of the pro 2's. These are a complete game changer! Not only do these fit tighter than the pro's ever did, they are actually more comfortable due to the silicone "sealing" and causing pressure. Now, everyone wants to know how transparency and noise cancelation is. Transparency is identical to my pro 2's. Noise cancelation is 90% as good as my pro 2's. There are more reviews coming out weekly on these and they will all say the same, for an open back earpiece these do an outstanding job of getting almost the same sound signature of the pro 2's in every way. For me, no silicone tips, outstanding sounds and battery life, these crushed my pro 2's and I sold them.

I prefer these over the pros. The noise cancellation is great. They do not hurt my ears and I don’t have problems with them slipping out. As far as phone conversations go, I think they are inherently the same as other AirPods (not the best). I wish that I had purchased these before my pros. I mostly use them for studying or if I’m walking on the treadmill. I don’t however use them for heavier workout routines but I’m sure that they’re great.

The AirPod four with noise suppression is a great product. Battery life is decent and I have had no issues with noise, quality or connectivity so far. It’s perfect for what I bought it for and I would recommend it to anyone else.
