Special sound, unsurpassed quality, having it complete my Apple ecosystem

I bought these for my wife for Mother’s Day and she couldn’t be happier with this gift! The sounds quality is crazy good and nothing like I’ve heard before! She hasn’t had the charge them yet and she’s used them multiple times already. She uses them for everything and connects to her iMac or phone and even iPad. So quick and easy to use.

The noise cancellation is so amazing! I couldn’t love these more and then the automatic translation is pretty great too! I really couldn’t love these more! Best purchase I’ve made in ages!!!

Love these headphones. Seems to work well with Spotify. Apple Music is interestingly only decent if you have the usb plugged into your phone, but of course data on your phone is never decent enough to stream that quality. T mobile sucks for that

I upgraded to the Apple AirPods Max 2, and so far I’m very impressed. The sound quality is excellent — rich, clean, and immersive without being overly harsh or muddy. Bass has good weight, vocals are clear, and Spatial Audio makes movies and well-produced music feel much more engaging. The noise cancellation is one of the biggest highlights for me. It does a great job cutting down background noise, which makes these perfect for travel, work breaks, and focused listening. The Transparency mode also feels very natural when I need to hear what’s going on around me. USB-C is a welcome upgrade, especially if you already use newer Apple devices. I also like being able to plug directly into my iPhone for wired listening when I want the best quality possible. Battery life has been solid, pairing is seamless, and the Apple ecosystem integration is exactly what you’d expect. The build quality feels premium, and the Midnight color looks sharp and understated. My only minor complaints are that they are still a little heavy for very long sessions, and the case still isn’t my favorite design. Also, they are expensive — but if you use headphones often and care about sound, comfort, ANC, and Apple integration, they feel worth it. Overall, these are premium headphones that actually feel premium. Great upgrade and I’m happy with the purchase.

First pair of Air Pod Max. Design and feel of quality is there. Youre buying into the Apple ecosystem so it fits right in with everything else I have. First impression of sound quality was “wow”. Now as for how its stood for me after a few weeks of purchasing. I want to keep these on ALL the time. They do not fit heavy, they do not cause discomfort and ive worn them for multiple school work sessions. Now, the only drawback ive noticed and this is personal, is the ear pads do get warm and if i do anything remotley outside for too long there will be condensation. But i am a hot individual, if you do not feel like you are, you wont have this issue. There are 3rd party solutions to this, dont miss out on experiencing these because of what others may deal with. The noise cancelling is amazing, I truly feel like im in a studio session listening to music or when I want less noise, these do a phenomenal job. Im gentle handling them, but I have head bumped a few things out of their case, they have not scratched. Charging is quick, battery lasts longer than what youll need when using them. My glasses are not pressed causing headaches, and I only wish I could enjoy these without having to fix my hair LOL. Seriously if youre in the edge of buying these, GET THEM. Dont listen to people whining about the small things.

The AirPods Max 2 have been an outstanding upgrade and easily rank among the best headphones I've ever owned. From the moment I put them on, the premium build quality and comfort were immediately noticeable. The Starlight finish looks elegant and sophisticated, giving them a unique appearance without being flashy. Sound quality is exceptional. Music feels rich, detailed, and immersive, with excellent separation between instruments and vocals. Whether I'm listening to playlists while editing photos, watching movies, or taking calls, everything sounds incredibly clear and refined. The active noise cancellation is one of my favorite features. It does an amazing job reducing background noise and helps create a focused environment wherever I am. At the same time, Transparency Mode feels natural and makes it easy to stay aware of my surroundings when needed. Comfort has also exceeded my expectations. Even during long editing sessions or extended travel days, the headphones remain comfortable without creating excessive pressure or fatigue. The materials feel premium throughout, and the overall construction inspires confidence that they'll last for years. The USB-C charging is a welcome improvement and makes it easier to travel with fewer cables. Battery life has been excellent, and the seamless integration with Apple devices makes switching between products effortless. Overall, the AirPods Max 2 deliver incredible sound quality, industry leading noise cancellation, premium comfort, and outstanding build quality. These sound so good! They are comfortable and i dont feel like my head is being weighed down by them even though they are heavier than some of the competing manufacturers and since they’re made by Apple setup and use has been absolutely seamless! Once they were paired with my phone, they automatically connected to my iPad! The ANC is not the best but decent but if you are already in the Apple ecosystem the benefits of these more than outweigh that small downside.

I picked up the AirPods Max 2 mainly for how seamlessly they work across my Apple devices, especially between my Apple TV and Mac—and they absolutely deliver on that. Switching between devices is effortless and one of the standout features for me. In terms of design and sound, they check the boxes. They look great, feel premium, and the audio quality is solid—everything sounds clear and well-balanced whether I’m watching something or listening to music. That said, they’re not perfect. The biggest downside is the weight. They’re noticeably heavy, and after extended use, you do start to feel it. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s something to be aware of if you plan to wear them for long stretches. Overall, if you’re deep in the Apple ecosystem, the seamless device switching alone makes these a compelling option. Just be prepared for a bit of heft during longer listening sessions.

I picked these up for my wife, and the sound quality won her over fast. Vocals and detail come through clearly, and she noticed a real step up from her old pair. Battery life held up well too. Apple rates these at 20 hours with ANC on, and that lined up with how she actually uses them day to day. The one thing that didn’t click for her was the weight. At over 13 ounces, these are noticeably heavier than typical over ear headphones, and after a couple hours of wear she’d start to feel it on her head and neck. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for shorter sessions, but on longer days it became something she noticed. Great sound and battery life, just be aware of the weight if you’re sensitive to heavier headphones.

I’ve had a couple of headphones over the years but always ended having to get a new pair due to wear and tear. I never saw myself spending $550 on a pair of headphones. Although I finally decided to do so. It’s about to be 3 months of ownership, I do not regret my purchase and here’s why: 1. I have big ears so they encapsulate them better than any headset I’ve ever owned. 2. The aluminum build makes them feel much more durable than the usual industry standard: plastic (which is a lot of headphones in the market), feel like I can take them anywhere. 3. They pair instantly once they are out of their case, no need on waiting to power on and eventually connect. 4. They sound very good, even tremble (bass) well. 5. The dial makes it easier to turn up / down the volume vs clicking buttons on other headphones. 6. They are in the Apple ecosystem, which makes things so much more easier, things like the auto pairing when moving across Apple devices and the “find my” features are top tier. 7. I don’t take phone calls on these usually but when I do, the mic is the best one out of all the headsets I’ve ever used. 8. Future proofing is very good due to you being able to switch out the ear cups, other headsets start to peal after a 2-3 years and you can’t switch them out. Reasons you might not like them: 1. You’re not used to wearing headphones nor the weight so I can see why after a couple of hours they might feel uncomfortable, but with time you get used to it. Through regular headphone wear / use I’ve already overcome this feeling. 2. There’s cheaper options which is fair, I was hesitant because of that as well. But I do not regret the purchase, just wait till they go on sale. Seen them drop to $400. 3. The battery is only 20 hours instead of 40 hours of like let’s say the Beats Studio pro’s (also made my Apple). It’s kind of a let down knowing Beats a cheaper headset (studio pro’s - still a flagship model) has 40 hours over the 20 hours Air Pod Pro Max but I just added it to my routine of charging my devices, and now I don’t notice it. Although in my case I do wear my AirPods Pro Max’s for about 6-10 hours a day, my current role is remote, so I’m using the AirPod Pro Max’s all the time. They do charge fairly quickly. 4. If you’re moving a lot, like at the gym they can fall off. Recommend wearing a hat or something to keep them locked in. I think this might be due to the weight, or possible head shape. I usually switch to an alternative headset for the gym, but in my instances where I’ve had to use the AirPod Pro Max’s they’ve performed as intended. They are a pretty balanced product, hope this review helps you on deciding whether to purchase or not. When I watched reviews online I felt like no one really elaborated on the topics I listed above, or if they did they were a bit dramatic. I would recommend this product, but as one you work up to. Starting off with lower end headsets and building your way up helps you see why these are so good. You can also get them as your first pair of headphones, nothing wrong with that.

These are hands down the best headphones I’ve ever owned. The sound quality is unreal—every song feels like you’re hearing it for the first time. The noise cancellation is so good it completely blocks out the world, and Transparency Mode sounds incredibly natural. They’re comfortable enough to wear for hours without any discomfort, the battery lasts forever, and the USB-C upgrade is a huge plus. If you’re on the fence, stop thinking and buy them. Worth every single penny. Apple absolutely nailed it with the AirPods Max 2.
