Item came without a charger gave as a gift couldn't return or exchange.

Apple totally missed the design on these. While the sound is great, they started bothering my ears after a couple hours with them on so had to return. Maybe they will improve these with the next generation but i can't recommend. Battery life also isn't that great.

I really wanted to love these however they are heavy and makes it uncomfortable to wear. The sound is great and I like how the ear cups feel but again just too heavy to wear for an extended amount of time. Not to mention the price tag too. OUCH. I love Apple products but will have to pass on this one. Hope they come out with a lighter version.

Apple made a bad choice for the case. It is so inconvenient.

Not as good as I thought they would be. Very underwhelming, I feel as if my AirPod Pro’s sound better quality wise than these.

I have owned these for just under a year and use them daily. When they work properly the sound and noise cancelling is outstanding. However, they constantly break and the Apple Repair service sends back trash. I have already had them sent back twice to repair Bluetooth that would no longer connect and am preparing to send them back a third time for noise cancelling that is not working properly and randomly turns itself on and off. I have other Apple Products that I am extremely pleased with. But the AirPods Max falls far below Apple’s normally high standards.

I’m in no way an audio expert but when I researched these, I was astounded at how many raving reviews there was. Very few bad ones compared overall. I can look past the weird case and the weight of these and for the price, yeah It’s absurd however I convinced myself like with anything Apple, I’d be happy and impressed. Especially with all the glowing reviews and hype they got with popular Tech YouTubers. Got them home, paired them and put on a song. It was an IMMEDIATE nope for me. Now I gave it about 30 minutes of different songs and genres and I even engaged the different modes; transparency, spacial audio etc. and it still didn’t cut it for me. Everything sounded mildly muted/under water, tinny, distorted. Could not get a clear, balanced playback except with a few songs. Now the ear cups…terribly itchy and rough feeling. Made my ears and neck sweaty! The volume output is mediocre at its highest and they just don’t justify the price. They went back right away and I exchanged them for the new generation Pros. Far more superior performance and half the cost. My Beats Studios are far better for an over the ear option compared to these. It’s almost comical that these were so terrible from Apple. Price should respectfully be around $189 and that’s mostly just for the brand and build quality. $20 is soley reserved for the performance.

Only downside is the price, try go get it on sale or refurbished closer to $400.
