These are excellent headphones; they have superb sound quality, stellar noise cancellation, decent bass, and they look very unique. I would easily rate these a 5/5 but there are a few very major setbacks that compelled me to return them at the end of the day. First off, the case SUCKS! I don’t know what they were thinking when they decided to release these headphones at $550 with a case like that! This case is flimsy, barely covers the headphones, offers no protection and it is just plain ugly, the case alone devalues these headphones by at least $50. Another setback is the bass; the bass is subpar at best. It is decent but headphones like Sony MX4 or Bose NC700 have way better bass. The headphones are also VERY heavy! You absolutely know that you’re wearing them the whole time you do wear them and it sucks. Last but not least that price is DISGUSTING. Again, these headphones are excellent but could easily be better. Are they worth the $550 price tag? ABSOLUTELY NOT. For about $200 less you can get other headphones better than these. I do very much like what they’re selling here and look forward to seeing the necessary improvements in their next pair.

Connects to any Apple product seamlessly. Sound is amazing better than the Bose headphones I currently have.

This things are amazing no glazing. I’ve worn them on ever trip for the past couple years and I love them.

The headphones are really good it nose cancel for me. When I went to see the fireworks this past summer I used them to watch the fireworks without getting scared

The noise canceling is amazing I sometimes forget I have it on in how great it works. Perfect for studying. The sound quality in these is insane I love them.

Doesn’t matter the environment they are great silences the world out

These are the best headphones I have ever purchased. In the past, I have had Beats, Shokz and others but these Airpod Max leave the others in the dust! The sound quality is outstanding!!! They totally alleviate background noise and are great to use for phone calls in my job. Best investment ever!!!!

The sound quality is the best I have experienced in the different styles (ear buds and over the ear) and brands (Bose, Sony and Apple) I have used over the years. If I have any complaints about these headphones it would be three (but minor points): 1) does not use the standard USB-C charging port. 2) A little heavier than other brands and styles used. 3) The standard storage option that comes with these headphones. This last point is a bit quirky as it would be nice to be able to fold and store in a smaller case.

I guess the saying “You get what you pay for” still holds true. The sticker shock on these headphones is real, and still to this day I wince at thinking about how much money I spent on them…but then again, they are the, or one of the, best headphones I have ever owned. The crisp, accurate, crystal clear highs and punchy, booming, but not drowned out, bass of these headphones is definitely a thing of beauty. They are very comfortable, with the caveat being they can be a bit hot on the ears on warmer days, and the headband works amazingly well with no hot spots so your head won’t be sore if you wear them for a long time. Battery easily last all day for me, often multiple days if I am not using them endlessly, and of course they work seamlessly with all Apple devices. You will find yourself rediscovering songs you thought you knew but actually never heard the full range of sound, with these headphones.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter and she absolutwly Looved it!! It was a Xmas gift and i bought yhe marching watch and she loved it.

Recently purchased the Apple AirPods Pro Max, and I’m blown away by the quality and performance. Good sound, it’s like being in the theater… really good bass too

Bought an open box for cheaper headphones and they work super great. I recommend buying them open box if you can find them cause the regular price is really expensive. But really great sound quality and I love the noise cancellation!

Just like most people would say when they got their first pair of AirPods, these things are life changing. I've had tons of over-ear headphones that I've enjoyed using, but inevitably they'd upset my head one way or another. These are the first headphones I can leave on all day and not be bothered by. Highly recommend if you're looking for something comfortable.

So I buy a lot of stuff from Best Buy. I don’t normally write reviews as it’s just not my thing but I feel like I had to for these. When they first came out (even though I’m a huge apple person pretty sure I have just about everything they make) I was super skeptical about this and thought they looked pretty goofy. Being the apple fan I am and liking to try out new tech I decided to give these a go. Now I’ve only have them for about 8 hours but already I can tell you these are the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. I have such thick hair that most headphones tend to slide off my head if I move around too much while listening to music (I like to jam while doing things around the house or whatever). These stay on my head so well and have ample room for my ears with several piercings that do not fit well with other over the ear headphones. If you’re even remotely thinking about these I would recommend getting them.

These things have saved me with all of the work trips I’ve had to take. The noise cancellation is top notch. After I’ve boarded my plane, the first thing I do is put these on and cancel everyone else out. Comfortable to wear, and they sound awesome.

I've gone through several similar headphones over the years, and these are by far the best I've owned. The audio is clear, I walk around the house with them, noise cancelling is amazing. I thought of waiting until new model came out, but I was in dire need of new headphones. I love the sky blue color, and I invested in a hard case as well as clear covers to protect the headphones. I've owned for over a month and absolutely love them!

I absolutely love all Apple products and I did not think they could top the wired headphones and it's the best I have ever experienced!

The noise cancellation and sound quality are great. BUT they are heavy and not super comfortable to wear. They don’t hold a very long charge. I bought these because I wanted over the ear headphones and I love my AirPod Pros. I will probably trade these in for Sony or Bose.
