TLDR audiophile opinion: $800 build quality, $200 sound quality. Disappointing overall. First off, I don't have a gripe with the price; as an audiophile these are actually in the middle to low price range of the 3 headphones I own. I went into these expecting an over-ear experience on par with the quality of AirPods Pro-not world beating audiophile grade performance, but a nice sound overall, with the convenience features of easy connectivity, great battery life, and noise cancellation/transparency mode. The headphones have a flat sound curve and lack bass, are incredibly heavy, and the case...well, I'm sure you've read about that. Perhaps my biggest complaint is transparency mode-the microphones are so sensitive that a noise like your hair rubbing against a couch, or even scratching your shoulder will be amplified 10x in your ears-I can't imagine wearing these if you have tinnitus or some other sensitivity condition. The build quality is fantastic, and on par if not exceeding other headphones that approach or exceed $800. though the headband material being made of seemingly the same material as the iPad magic keyboard that shows wear after weeks worries me, as the case does nothing to protect it.

these airpods are amazing and extremely comfortable. absolutely no issues with them and i couldn't be any happier.

Super impressed with the sound quality, I am coming from my Beats Studio3 to these. I’m hearing things in songs I’ve never heard before with my old headphones. My only con is Digital Crown is a little finicky since that’s where I’m use to grabbing to put my headphones on. And price but expensive = Apple

Best headphones I’ve ever used. If you care about audio quality, these are the best wireless sound you will find. Worth it for me, but there really good ones for less.
