I have owned Bose QC3, 700, Sennheiser PXC550, Sony XM3 and I am glad I gave AirpodsMax a shot. It (to my ears) are the best of the lot when it comes to wireless headphones. Back in the days, when anybody tried on BOSE QC3, they used to go "wow". After that, things have been "similar" for the most part. Sony XM3s was the next "wows". But this - takes it to a different level. The whole experience - build quality, ease of use, comfort, noise cancellation, transparency mode - is simply awesome. yes 550$ is steep. I had BBuy credits accumulated and I just used it all for this and I have no regrets. I will plan to purchase different color ear cushions once they are available for purchase. The magnetic hold for the ear Cushions are really cool as those are what get spoilt first over time. Extremely easy to remove and put back. The ear cups (not just cushions), also detach with a SIM card ejection tool if someone really wants to do that. I have had these on for many hours and no issues. It seamlessly connects to my apple devices and switches from one to another seamlessly. The Audio quality is astounding. Every single detail is crystal clear and the sound feels "wider" when compared to other headphones. No doubt these are expensive, but I'd rather purchase one exceptional then two mediocres . BestBuy also delivered this way before time. Thank you BestBuy.

First off, i must say that i’m coming from the bose qc45’s. An already great pair of headphones that I use for the gym. They had good noise cancelling,comfort, and sound. That being said these COMPLETELY blow those out of the park. The noise cancelling difference is NIGHT AND DAY. Spatial audio works really well. The sound quality is so much more rich. They feel higher quality also. The integration with apple devices is definetly a plus as well. The bose would auto connect but the apple ecosystem is just so much more seamless. I will say tho, if you are on android, get the bose. Becuasw your getting the same offering on both ends. But apple? A good old pair of airpods will do the job just nicely. 2 small things though, they are Substantially heavier than the bose but not with dealbreaking weight. I go to the gym 6x a week and do a range of exercises including cardio and they stayed snug most of the time. Unless you tilt your head back 90 degrees they probably wont move much. And also the inability to turn them off is kind lf annoying, but my battery never dies so i guess its alright. All in all good headphones

I like them my dad brought me them for Christmas. I could have them on the lowest volume with the noise cancellation and I can barley hear anything. while with the transparency mode, it feels like I don’t even have the headphones on because it is an very clear sound of the real world. And the music bass is so good, it feels like Im actually next to the artists that I am listening too. One thing though is that definitely 500$ isn’t really a good price for them. Best wireless over ear headphones available I absolutely LOVE these headphones, they’re by far the best overear headphones you can buy-especially if you own/use them with an Apple device. They’re absolutely top quality headphones that any audiophile would love and appreciate, and they’re also absolutely gorgeous and beautifully designed, as all Apple products are. I love the range of colors available as well. One of the biggest, most stand out features of these aside from the excellent sound quality is their exceptional noise cancellation. These have THE best noise cancellation of any headphone on the market, regardless of price. No matter how loud and busy the world around you is, once you turn on noise canceling, it completely shuts the world out and lets you enjoy perfect silence or allows you to listen to your music or watch videos/movies without any background noise affecting and disturbing you. I also like the controls on the headphones themselves, as it’s very simple and intuitive. There’s a dedicated button just for the noise canceling and transparency modes as well as a small dial similar to what’s on Apple Watches that controls volume as well as play/pause, skip/next track and previous track, and also allows you to summon Siri as well as answer or decline and end calls (you also can do all call and text functions by voice, as well as Siri reading out incoming texts to you) these headphones also work with Apples spatial audio and head tracking, which can be turned on/off any time, but it unfortunately is a feature only available when used with an Apple device, and one other cool feature only available with Apple devices is the Find My feature, which allows you to be able to always see where your headphones are on a map in the event you lose them, so it helps make sure you’re never going to lose these and always be able to find them, which is an awesome feature. They also have the cheapest price on these and often times will have them on sale for even cheaper-so if you see them and they’re on sale I highly suggest buying them before that sale ends! Absolutely love these headphones. They do take some getting used to in the beginning. Slightly heavier but you will forget you have them on after a few days. The sound is awesome and the noise cancellation is great for a loud office. This is my second pair.

I'll just address common complaints. You know the rest. They sound god tier. They connect effortlessly. They have a excellent build. Q - They're what, 600$? They're headphones. Too expensive. A - They're not for you then, you should check out the Sony XM4 over hear headphones. They sound very good and are built pretty nice. These are for people who want something better than XM4s or NC700s. If those headphones are for you, save 200-300$ and get them. Q - They don't sound as good as other audiophile headphones. A - Correct! But good luck using those open back (no noise suppression) headphones in a loud environment, good luck taking them outside of your house (they need an amplifier, not wireless obviously) and again you need an amplifier which can range from 200$ to 2000$. Q - This reviewer said they don't fit that good. A. That honestly might be the case. It's subjective, however. I suggest you find someone who has a pair of these, if you can't, best buy has a return policy for situations like this. I will tell you that 1. they are heavy, but feel very light on my head. I used to have QC35 iis, and XM4s. I can wear these much much longer because of them being more comfortable. 2. They "fit" my head perfectly fine. Q - THE CASE A - I get you, I agree with you. It's pretty garbage. So make like I did and get rid of the bra case. Put it on ebay, sell it to someone, heck give it to your kids. It's garbage, you don't want to use it. I sold mine for 25$, and it sold within an hour of me posting it. (Huh? I thought everyone hated it? Apparently not!) Buy yourself an actual case, I got mine for 18$ on Scamazon. You can get Max cases pretty much anywhere. Q - (more of a complaint about Apple) But they're not repairable A - Well, I challenge you to tell me what wireless bluetooth headphones ARE more repairable than these. In my opinion Apple went above and beyond. They impressed iFixit of all places. The cushions are held on by magnets, of course. I'm sure you knew that. But did you know that the headband is replaceable? I don't recommend you try this if you have a pair already, but you CAN take the cushion off and stick a SIM tray tool into a little hole in the upper top of the inside of the ear cup *(please make sure you know which hole, it might hurt a lot if you have the wrong one)* and gently push in just like a SIM tray and the earcup will completely detatch from the headband. Good luck finding a replacement, but eventually down the line I'm sure there will be some on things like eBay and it's just a headband so if you get one that isn't exactly original, whatever. I will say though that I'm certainly not easy on my Apple things, but my headband still looks perfect. They look fragile, but unless you accidentally take a knife to it, it will be fine. If you can realistically afford them and want them, I cannot recommend them enough. They are fantastic, I have zero regrets whatsoever buying mine for the full MSRP of 550$. (they're now 500$ at time of posting) Enjoy them!

These Apple headphones aren’t just regular airpods! The noise cancellation for when you need to get in the zone or lock in is amazing or if your wanting to have music as background noise but still hear surroundings the active transparency is wonderful. Not to mention the fit for these headphones is nice and snug where you don’t have to worry about them falling off your head when making movements! Last but definitely not least the battery in these headphones can last you up to 5 days of everyday use. No other headphones are like this mind blown

Great design and even better sound. I mainly purchased these for the noise cancellation but I was surprised how good the sound is. Battery life is over 20 hours. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 star is because the case is useless and doesn’t offer any protection. You cannot turn off the headphones, they go into sleep mode only when they go inside the case. These should be in the $300-400 range. Overall the design and build quality is top notch and sound quality is superb!

These honestly slap so hard, seriously worth it! The ANC and Transparency modes on here are exceptional, especially transparency mode where it literally doesn’t feel like / sound like you have anything covering your ears; The voices are all so clear when others are around you! Super comfortable, and while others complain about the weight, I personally find them completely fine. Seriously recommend these for other Apple product enjoyers!

I would give it 10 stars if I could, thought the price was a bit dramatic but hear me out! They’re hands down the best headphones I’ve ever owned. The sound is IMMACULATE, noise canceling is chefs kiss, and I can set it to where I can hear outside noises and hear my music amazing still(my dogs a jerk and likes to get into things she shouldn’t). But please for the love of god this is the best adult purchase I’ve made thus far, I cried listening to them the first time because I’ve never heard every beat and instrument in such depth. They are super comfy and their battery life lasts FOREVER, no separate charger so it’s the same as your iPhone charger too. They aren’t giant and bulky either Best part is they come in pink with a matching pink case;)

Love the color. The quality is superb, both in audio and build. It fits comfortably on my head. Doesn't feel too heavy on my head. I like the magnetic removal earpieces for cleaning. I love all the features and settings from within my iPhone. I really like how seamlessly I can switch from iPhone to Watch to Apple TV. My Apple TV recognizes that the headphones are out and active and prompts to connect to them automatically. It took some tweaking with the EQ to get the exact sound I want to hear from music. For me personally, I found the treble to be less, and the Treble Boost EQ fixed that. The spatial audio can be weird at times because voices can be drowned out by a lot of the ambience noise or instruments - but that could an issue with that particular show or song as other shows and songs do not have that issue. The case, while very nice in color, is a little lackluster in protection. I bought an aftermarket full case and clear silicone ear protectors from Amazon to keep the aluminum finish from scratching. I'm very happy with them. I feel it's a worthwhile purchase for the amount of money they cost. Purchased AppleCare+ for them as always.
