The noise cancellation is awesome. They fit on my ears comfortably for hours with no problems. A little pricey, but worth it.

It was amazing. I’m currently in medical school right now and so I had been using the AirPods for so long. I didn’t really like them because they kept dying you know, but this hat is a long longevity. Also, I will say the downside of it is that sometimes I do fall asleep with headphones like AirPods on, but this one’s kind of like bulky so I couldn’t really do that.

The Apple AirPods Max (Lightning) in Space Gray deliver an exceptional audio experience. The build quality also feels premium, with a comfortable fit even during extended use. However, I ended up returning these headphones due to their reliance on the Lightning port for charging. While this may not be an issue for everyone, it was inconvenient for me, as most of my devices now use USB-C. I also found the lack of a dedicated power button slightly frustrating, as the headphones occasionally remained connected when I thought they were off. Overall, these headphones are an excellent choice if you’re in the Apple ecosystem and don’t mind the Lightning port. Unfortunately, they weren’t the right fit for my needs, but I would still recommend them for their superior sound quality and comfort.

As much as I wanted to dislike this product due to the high price tag, I just can't dislike them. I already own the Sony XM4 headphones and had watched reviews on these. I saw mixed reviews. Some said they loved them, some said they were not worth the money. I really like my Sony's until I listened to the Airpods Max. Now...I can't really listen to the Sony's as I find the sound to be muddy and missing separation between things. The Airpods Max have such better separation and clear, crisp sounds in the higher frequencies. While I still feel the Sony's do have more "punch" at times, I know find that it is not clear and muddies the sound in the mid-range. The sub-base on the Airpods Max is so clean. The sound on the Airpods Max is great on bluetooth, but the sound is even better when connected via a cable and the use of a DAC. The sound is also greatly improved when listening to Hi-Res sources like Amazon Music HD or Tidal. If the excellent sound quality was not enough to sell me, the noise cancellation is certainly right on par with the Sony's, but they blow the competition away when is comes to the "pass through" mode. With other headphones, I found the "pass through" to be more gimmicky than an actual value. Some have implementations that make is useable, but the Airpods Max make is pleasure to use the mode. It is so natural sounding that I don't mind carrying on a conversation with the headphones on. That was the feature that had me completely sold. While the first portion of this give the headphones a rave review, I do have to mention the only part I hate about the headphones...the dreaded case! Call it a "bra" or a "purse" or whatever else is floating around out there, I really don't know what Apple was thinking. Outside of putting the headphone immediately into their "low power" state, there is nothing else of value with the case. It is ugly, not the easiest to get the headphones back into, and provides no protection for a product with a high price tag. There have been Apple products in the past I have questioned that have eventually become accepted (original Airpods)...I don't see how that can happen with this case. My recommendation is to check around on Amazon as there are already 3rd party options available that will offer the low power state. TLDR: These are the best sounding bluetooth headphones I have used, have tremendous build quality, work perfectly in the Apple Ecosystem, and have the best "pass through" audio mode I have ever heard. Look for an alternate case option.

Love em high quality iPods in my experience just missing a littler bass like the beat but everything else great, comfortable high quality made ma littler downsize is the price.

The apple Airpod maxes are a great choice for headphones if you have the money to spend on it. The noise cancellation is phenomenal and i kid you not you cannot hear anything with it on. The transparency mode is also phenomenal. It quite literally sound like you have nothing on. Some negatives that it has is the fact that it’s a little heavier than the rest of the headphones out in the market. And the case is another downside. The headphones don’t fully turn off unless they are in the case. if you have $550 your willing to spend on headphones i say go ahead.
