Honestly better than I thought. I’ve had Beats Studio headphones, I’ve had bose quiet headphones, and I just recently got these. Each have their own perks, and these connect seamlessly to my devices and sound amazing. I cook and clean with these a lot and forget they’re on my head lol. I do not wear these to the gym or go running with them because of how they’re made. I don’t want to ruin the fabric on top or around the ears. I use Beats Studio for all strength training and running. I also love the look of these. Some hate the look but I genuinely think they’re gorgeous! I’m not an audiophile, but they sound great. Again, each pair has their own perks, beats sound fuller (with bass), Bose sound crisper (I can hear ever detail in Bose), these still sound great and are more comfortable imo. If you have the funds, I’d say these are a great choice. If you want the best headphone for sound, maybe do some research or go into the store to hear for yourself.

I love my AirPod maxes’ and use them almost daily, especially during the school year. When I’m wearing them I can turn on noise cancellation to study and really focus. It helps me lock in and feel like I’m in my own little world and I get so much work done. I also like that I can’t have it on non-noise canceling and transparency in case anyone is trying to talk to me or if I’m just walking around campus, I’m still aware of my surroundings.

My personal experience is well aligned with its nominal battery life, which promises with the hours of continuous playback and a total of 30 hours in the case with ANC on. That aligns with the Beats Fit Pro, and will give you about 90 minutes more resistance than the original AirPods Pro and up to six hours more than the Bose

Bought them for my trip abroad and they were amazing. The noise cancellation was wondeful especially on the plane. The transparency mode is so good yet you can still hear the music really well. Feels like I'm not even weading headphones in this mode. The headphones are extremely comfortable.

This is my first experience with these Apple - AirPods Max. They have the Lightning port, so I save a few bucks, but I’m telling ya, these sound so amazing! They’re built really good and feel extremely comfortable and yet super stable. I really love the noise cancellation option at just a simple tap of the button. I still have a set of 2nd gen air pods that’ve been through the washing machine a couple times, but I’m seriously enjoying some music, these AirPods Max are my go to! Definitely worth the money. Highly recommended!

These headsets are amazing. I travel often by airplane. I will use them even if I’m not listening to music just to reduce ambient noise. The effect is dramatic. For music the sound quality is truly amazing.

From the moment I unboxed these Apple headphones, I knew I was in for a treat. The sleek design promised a premium experience, and they did not disappoint. The sound quality is, in a word, phenomenal. Whether I’m lost in the intricate layers of a classical piece or vibing to the latest Beyonce or Drake hits, these headphones deliver crystal-clear audio that makes every note resonate with clarity. But it’s not just the sound that’s impressive. Comfort is where these headphones truly shine. They are designed for long listening sessions, fitting snugly yet gently over my ears. I’ve worn them throughout the day without any hint of discomfort, which is a rarity in headphones. And did I mention how great they sound? It bears repeating. The audio quality is so immersive, it feels like the musicians are right there in the room with me. The bass is deep and rich, the highs are crisp, and the mid-tones are perfectly balanced. Whether for music, podcasts, or movies, these headphones are a game-changer. Apple has outdone themselves with these headphones. They strike the perfect balance between superb sound quality and day-long comfort. If you’re in the market for a new pair of headphones, these should definitely be at the top of your list.

The Sonic Sorcery of the AirPods Max

Ah, the AirPods Max, Apple's audio architect that's as cool as the other side of the pillow. From the first unboxing, it was clear these headphones weren't just designed, they were "Apple'd." Sleek, sturdy, and with a promise of crafting a personal sound sanctuary even in the busiest of workplaces. What's the secret sauce? Active Noise Cancellation. One moment you're in the office symphony of keyboard clicks and coffee-machine chatter, the next you're wrapped in a bubble of serene silence. It's like having an invisible 'Do Not Disturb' sign floating around your head. But don't let the quiet fool you. Engage the Spatial Audio, and it's like hosting a private concert in your cranium. The sound quality is simply outstanding, a real treat for the eardrums. It's so immersive, you'll swear your favourite band is jamming out right beside your desk. This makes getting in the 'creative zone' a breeze. No distractions, just you, your thoughts, and perhaps the gentle hum of your favourite tunes. Think of it as the apple of your 'i' -dea generation! The battery life? More than enough to power through your day's work without skipping a beat. And if it does run out, hey, even the best performers need an intermission! So, to wrap up, the AirPods Max are a magnificent mix of style, sound, and silent productivity. They are a real treat for anyone looking to upgrade their workday soundtrack. 5/5 apples. After all, an 'Apple' product a day keeps workplace distractions away!

Very good design, comfortable, excellent noise isolation and cancellation. Mic works better than my Bose QC 35ii and Surface 2. Spatial audio is awesome, and I love the auto-connect to my Apple devices. I do not feel the weight of the cans on my head or ears; in fact, because of the weight distribution, they feel better than my Bose and Surface 2 headsets. For audio quality, they are more even across ranges than the Bose. The Bose are much heavier on bass, with Apple being more balanced. If you LOVE bass, then Apple may disappoint a little. Otherwise, the Apple headsets are very comparable in sound quality and clarity. The Surface headphones, while pretty good, don't really compare and, for me, are better used for general computer audio. The smart case has been widely panned, but I'm okay with it (except that the silver headset comes with a white case, which means it's gonna get dirty!). I can see throwing it into a suitcase, wince it doesn't add the bulk of the typical case. Overall, a nice set of headphones. Sound is on-par with my Bose QC 35ii, but more balanced.

Absolutely love my AirPods Max! The sound quality is crystal clear, the noise cancellation blocks out everything, and they’re so comfortable to wear for hours. The build feels super premium and the battery lasts way longer than I expected. Worth every penny!

Best headphones I have used however there is a problem where condensation can build up behind the cups on the aluminum but you can get around that by wiping them off after each use and storing them with silica gel packets.

I have been looking for good quality noise cancelling headphones to help me manage my hypersensitivities to sound. These have really good specs that help: noise cancelling function, transparency mode (that modulates sudden loud noises and mutes them down for you, even if you had noise cancelling turned off), a really good microphone for calls etc, and an incredibly durable frame with replaceable parts. The biggest downside I have found is that condensation builds inside of the headset very quickly. The headphones are not water resistant in any way, so this is troublesome if you have to wear for any length of time. If you remove the ear pad, the condensation looks like shiny black things around the components. The first time I saw it, I thought it may be some kind of adhesive. The common "fixes" found online are to avoid temperature disparities to prevent the metal casing from being a different temperature than the environment, don't use in humid places, and to let them dry out often. This basically means no one in any location can use them. Anywhere. Or wear them for anything more than 15-20 minutes at a go. I live in Alaska. Even used only inside, there are huge temperature differences that create condensation. The environment here is very dry, so that isn't a factor. Also, if you have a warm noggin, it'll condense. This is the biggest problem these headphones seem to have and I sincerely hope Apple makes them at least water resistant in the future because the build itself otherwise is a solid 10/10. The sound is also reaaaaally good for even those who are a bit more into how music sounds, let alone the average person's music needs. ALSO: these were purchased open-box from Best Buy. The condition was exactly as marked on the box. But they did have someone else paired to them (In their iCloud) and it wasn't removed prior to my purchasing them. I had to look up how to remove them from someone's account before I could pair them to my own setup. I'd recommend Best Buy look at that for other open-box resold items but beyond that, the experience and cost was great.
