Great sounding wireless sound, not perfect though

Apple's famous Airpods, now Max! While these do sound very good, they don't sound great in my opinion, especially for the price. They are very cool, comfortable, and look great. But for half the price you can get some truly great sounding cans from Sennheiser. If what you want is great audio, wired is the way to go anyway. Are these fun? Heck yes, especially with Apple's lossless audio, and particularly for movies. But if you have to choose between the Pros and these, I'd say go with the Pros 90% of the time. I use my Pros several times a day, and these only a handful of times a week. Now, if you're not a very picky listener, and love the convenience of both wireless audio and Apple's seamless integration between devices, and want to spend over $500, then by all means, these are great in my opinion, and have a much more natural sound than other wireless headphones, like Beats, do. Also, bear in mind that while you can enjoy Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos with these, you can't do lossless, even if you do wire them.

Amazing sound quality! I am very impressed with these headphones. Bluetooth conection is seemless and instant, even with an Android phone. The only main downsides I've found is that mosture tends to condensate inside the headphones between the magnetic ear cups due to the aluminum build. This isn't so much of a problem because you can easily remove the magnetic ear cups and wipe down the moisture, but I do have concerns about the long term affects of the moisture build-up. The only other complaint I have is that you are required to buy a seperate $35 cord if you need to use these headphones wired, for video editing for example. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied with the sound quality, noise cancelling, battery life, and overall comfort. I literally have been useing these for about a total of 13 hours a day everyday and never once ran out of battery durring use.

They are a bit on the pricey side, but these headphones work amazing. The noise cancelling features are powerful and easy to use, the bass is quality, and the mid and high frequency sounds come through clear as well. The ear pads are super comfy as well and, even though my girlfriend wears glasses, she never complains about the headphones causing discomfort. Battery life is good and the carrying case adequate, though a bit impractical. It would have made more sense for them to come in a padded zipper case in my opinion, especially considering the price.

The Apple AirPods Max (Lightning) in Space Gray deliver an exceptional audio experience. The sound quality is crisp, with deep bass and clear highs, making them perfect for music lovers or anyone looking to immerse themselves in their favorite tunes. The build quality also feels premium, with a comfortable fit even during extended use. However, I ended up returning these headphones due to their reliance on the Lightning port for charging. While this may not be an issue for everyone, it was inconvenient for me, as most of my devices now use USB-C. I also found the lack of a dedicated power button slightly frustrating, as the headphones occasionally remained connected when I thought they were off. Overall, these headphones are an excellent choice if you’re in the Apple ecosystem and don’t mind the Lightning port. Unfortunately, they weren’t the right fit for my needs, but I would still recommend them for their superior sound quality and comfort.

Of course all Apple products are high quality, and I’m generally a fan of every one I’ve ever bought. These are really impressive! The noise canceling is fantastic and the headphones are very comfortable. I love the pink color as well. It took me a minute to figure out which earcup was left and which was right. I finally happened to see that “R” and “L” are sewn into the interior fabric of each earcup. I love these headphones! I had the Beats Studio 3s before these, and they were great too. But I do think the AirPods Max edge the Beats out a bit.

Fit is amazing. Noise cancellation is the best i have ever experienced. Very light weight on head. Holds a lot of heat on the ears. I used these to sleep and block out ambient noise. Moisture gathers and causes reverberation that will wake you up. Have to dry them when this happens but outside of that blocks out all sound and provides excellent sleep. If you have them paired with multiple Apple and Android devices connectivity can be an issue. Device randomly connects and disconnects, have to turn on Bluetooth on other devices to prevent this.

I was on the fence about these headphones for a while after they came out. I already had the Bose NC700 headphones, so I didn't NEED new headphones, but I've fully drank the Apple kool-aid so the attraction was there. I finally broke down and purchased them. I used them for about 2 weeks including several cross country flights. In the end, I returned them to Best Buy as there just wasn't enough improvements there for the huge cost increase over the Bose. Pros: - Great sound. Really solid sound with great range. It's truly impressive. - Good Noise Cancelling. Works great, but really not better than the Bose. I like that Apple kept it simple and NC is either on or off. No annoying multiple levels like Bose or Sony. - Solid build. No plastics here. These things are built like a tank. - Great switching between Apple devices. I switched between an iPhone, iPad, Macbook, and AppleTV seemlessly. It made things so easy. Cons- - Heavy. That solid build I liked came with a big weight penalty. These were extremely heavy compared to the Bose and it bothered me after an hour or two of wear. Because of the weight, the headphone shifted often when I moved and I'd have to readjust them. Every time I grabbed the cans to readjust, I would hit one of the buttons and pause the music or turn off the noise cancelling. I could probably learn not to do this but over 2 weeks, I did this a lot. - Hot. The ear cushions were very comfortable. I thought they'd have more breathability than the faux leather on the Bose units, but I was wrong. My ears got very hot and sweaty after just a short time wearing them. I could see visible moisture in the cans when I took them off. This never happened with the Bose. - Case. The case is ridiculous. Seriously, it's embarrassing. It covers the cans, but I was constantly worried about the fabric on the headband tearing while in my backpack when travelling. I ended up buying a $30 case off Amazon to protect them better. Also, while in the Apple case, the low power mode only kicked in occasionally. A few times I went to bed with the headphones at 80% only to take them out the next morning at 20%. Really annoying. Just put a power button on it. - Cost. Even with a $50 discount while on sale, these are VERY expensive. Despite how much I liked the sound, NC, etc. They were just not worth $200 more than the Bose. Maybe gen 2 will have a lower price point and a workable case. I'd definately consider them again, but these ahd to go back for a refund.

The sound quality is very good, and I LOVE the noise cancelling feature. I work in a parts department so it can get very loud and I have sensory issues on top of that, so knowing I can turn it on is awesome. The battery lasts long and I dont have to charge them very often. The only thing is that they can get scratched easily and makeup can rub off on the cushions, but I got silicone covers to protect them. Some say they are heavy but I don’t notice nor does having them on bother me. They are very comfortable and provide an exellent experience IMO.

Best headphones I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning, so glad I threw down big bucks on these. The noise cancelling is exceptional, I use these to play darts in a busy bar with a DJ blaring hip hop on the weekends and I cant hear that at all. Also, if someone starts talking to you, just hit the button on top and it converts to transparency mode allowing you to hear your surroundings. Sound quality is excellent, battery life is excellent. My only gripe is the stupid, ugly storage case that comes with these in which you are forced to use to put them in the lowest power save mode. Highly recommend otherwise

As expected, these headphones play amazingly nice with Apple devices. Seamlessly connect when you put them on, disconnects when you take them off. The sound quality is very good but not great when compared to B&O headphones. The AirPod Max does have some neat special audio features as well the as some of the best active noise canceling I’ve experienced so far. I personally find the ear cups to be rougher & scratchier than I’d prefer although this is not a dear breaker. Build quality is top notch overall. Basically bought to seamlessly switch between iPhone, MacBook & AppleTV. I’d say that 80% of the time, the convenience is worth it. There are moments where I switch over to B&O or professional headphones. While I’m not mad for the price I paid ($440 after tax), $300-350 would be the sweet spot where I’d say it’s a definite purchase.

Over the last 7 years, I have been the buyer of several headphones from Sony, Apple and Bose. My go to is usually my Sony 1000XM5s but since I was gifted these, they’re pretty much on my ears 24/7. They’re comfortable for long wear, sound amazing (real low punchy bass but crisp clear sound on the high end, vocals sound great and not distorted) and pretty darn stylish. ANC is great, along with transparency mode. Thr best all all arounder.

I recently had the pleasure of using the Airpods Max, and it's been an audio revelation. The sound quality is outstanding, providing a rich and immersive listening experience. The build quality is premium, offering both comfort and durability during extended use. What I Liked: 1. **Exceptional Sound Quality:** The Airpods Max deliver a balanced and crisp sound, whether you're into music, podcasts, or movies. The high-fidelity audio is a game-changer. 2. **Comfortable Fit:** The over-ear design is not only stylish but also comfortable for long periods. The memory foam ear cushions provide a snug fit without causing discomfort. 3. **Impressive Build:** The build quality is top-notch. The stainless steel frame feels sturdy, and the materials used give a sense of luxury. It's a stylish accessory that complements any tech setup. 4. **Effective Noise Cancellation:** The active noise cancellation is superb, effectively blocking out ambient noise and allowing for an undisturbed, immersive listening experience. What Could Be Improved: 1. **Price Point:** While the Airpods Max are undeniably high-quality, the price may be a deterrent for some buyers. It's an investment, and potential customers should weigh the cost against their priorities. 2. **Case Design:** The Smart Case design has received mixed reviews. While it offers protection, it might not be as user-friendly as some would prefer. Overall, the Airpods Max excel in delivering a premium audio experience with a sleek design. If you prioritize top-notch sound quality and are willing to invest, these headphones are worth considering. My experience with them has been nothing short of impressive, making them a standout choice in the realm of high-end headphones.

The AirPods Max (APM) have impressed me! Coming from Sony XM3s, I had high expectations since those were really great. There’s no competition here, APM are superior. I use these with my iPhone 12 Mini (also fantastic) and they are a dream. Quick and painless to pair. Sound is above Sony and Bose. You can really hear the separation with instruments, it’s unique and makes listening to older songs almost sound new again. Not using Apple’s special audio, even. Battery is fine! I get 20ish hours a charge and that’s with ANC on 90% of the time. No complaints. Transparency mode is incredible, really. With it on it almost seems like you don’t have headphones on. It sounds just as if you were in the room with someone. Would I buy again? Yes, without hesitation.

First they look great. Second they feel great. Third they sound great. They connect seamlessly to all of my Apple products and the battery life is terrific. I Would recommend to anyone wanting the same quality as the AirPod Pro, only these won’t fall out of your ears. I like that you can accessorize and make them fit your style.
