Absolutely great headphones! Amazing sound Quality and the noise cancellation is great. I work at a dog daycare so it gets very loud and these have helped me out tremendously.

Great sound, seamless connectivity for apple devices. Not a fan of the fit, too much pressure on the temples and not evenly distributed around the ear.

Was contemplating getting these for about a month and a half and getting them has been a great decision. Excelent sound and noise cancelation qualities, and the intergration with apple tv makes movies and tv shows an entirly new experience

Sound quality at certain volume levels is almost exactly the same. Kind of unbelievable. It is as though Apple reverse engineered the Bose 700 and copied its sound signature and noice canceling to within 5 percent. There is a definite sound quality difference though that changes with the volume level. This is all about the DSP. Of course, the digital signal processing (DSP) is called Computational Audio on the Max and Volume Optimized EQ on the Bose. This is what works differently and what accounts for sound differences dependent on the volume. Basically, the Bose sound better at 60 percent volume and below. Bose just has it dialed in so that everything sounds rich and balanced. I usually listen to music at about 55 percent volume on my iPad. So, I prefer the sound of the Bose. The sound at 60 percent and below on the AirPods Max suffers from a veiled upper midrange. An alto saxophone, for example, will sound as though it is being played behind a wooden door.

Great pair of headphones. I wouldn't pay the full $550 for it by any means, but if you come across these on sale or see it discounted more elsewhere, remember you can have Best Buy price match these headphones -- it's what I did. Perfect if you're in the apple ecosystem - switching between devices is even more seamless than with my AirPods Pro. Sound quality is excellent. Headphones are very comfortable. If they don't feel right on your head or too tight on first wear, don't forget to lengthen the band at the parts that attach to the cups. It may not seem like you can lengthen the headset, but you can. Noise cancellation is very, very good. The case it comes with is very, very stupid due to the fact it's required to put the headphones into in order for them to go into sleep mode and not drain battery faster. It's my only con for these headphones. Keep in mind, you can purchase accessories online that can put these headphones to sleep that are better than the dumb case they come with. Still, it would be nice if Apple provided a way to put these into sleep mode with the buttons.

awesome and fast pickup, love the quality and the color and a really good deal

I recently purchased for my wife and it exceeded all her expectations. We are impressed by the premium build quality and its sleek design. The sound quality is great and the canopy makes them comfortable for hours of listening!

I was skeptical about paying this much for noise canceling headphones but I will say they work amazing! Went on a trip recently and I couldn’t even hear the engine noise on the airplane. Bass is great as well but of course we all know if you are more of an audiophile Sony is the way to go for that but as far as the Apple ecosystem goes and wanting that true superior noise canceling feature these are it.

Amazing sound, best consumer headphones I’ve heard. Noise cancelation is unmatched. Unfortunately they are big, bulky, and heavy. Because of the weight they tend to slip off your head if your moving, walking, working out. Hopefully Apple will refine the APMax in the future. Currently they are not worth $500.

Arguably the best headphones ever created…ONLY if you can find them on sale. At $550, too expensive but for $450 and below absolutely insane experience.

I’ve been using the Apple AirPods Max for a month now, and so far, I’m impressed. The transparency mode is my favorite feature these headphones offer. Since I have an iPhone, the ease of use is through the roof. My only problem with these headphones is the price and age. The cost, I feel, is too high, but the build quality is crazy good. I’m not sure if it justifies the price. The fact that these headphones are four years old and Apple has not given this product a refresh is bonkers. Even with the personal problems I have with these headphones, I love these headphones. I hope Apple will update these ASAP.

Charging is annoying but otherwise great sound quality

Got it for someone as a gift and they really loved it but the noise canceling on the headphones can feel uncomfortable.
