Worth depending on your budget
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comfortability is great on these especially if you're trying to find something that you can wear for long periods of time. Although not the best for working out because it is a tad bit on the heavier side and tends to slip off with lots of sharp movements. The sound on these is also very clear and your able to get amazing sound on these is you modify your music apps equalizer. Overall great product just again only real thing I kinda hate on these would be the weight of them other than that pretty solid.

Very comfortable, very good sound.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these because they were on sale because they had a lightning charge port instead of the newer USB C. This is the only difference from the newer model. The sound is very good as is the noise cancellation. I have owned many ear phones ( cans) and these, although looking rather large and being a bit heavier than most, are noticeably more comfortable. Easy to wear for a long time and good battery life.

Buy them if you have the money (and an iPhone)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you can afford it and are already apart of the apple ecosystem then I can recommend these. I was worried about the battery after people said you cant turn them off. But you can wear them from when you wake up to when you go to bed. Just charge them at night and they are ready for another 1-3 days. I use a fast charger so charging for like 5 minutes is more than enough to do something like go to the gym or a 2hr walk or something. No having an on/off button has oddly made them simpler and i personally like it. You just throw them on and they are already on and connected. The transparency mode makes it very easy to just leave the headphones on all the time because you can still hear very clearly outside the headphones. Then when you want to block everything out just 1 button does so. I can sit in the cafeteria at work and not hear anything around me while I listen to music. Also Id say have a big head and don't even use the biggest setting with these. I did have to buy a cheap case from Amazon though because I would never put them in my backpack with just the bra case. I only use that when I charge them. Just make sure when buying a case you get one that has the magnets between the ear cups. That is how the headphones get put into low power mode. Tldr: If you have the money and an iPhone, then you’ll appreciate these. Don't worry about the lack of a power button or the weight. And you'll need to buy a new case that has the ability to hibernate them.

The quality and comfort you expect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these due to some international travel. I tend to use my AirPods Pro 1st gen, but on long trips with an in-seat screen, the Pros become a bit uncomfortable, need recharging, and I can't use with the in-seat entertainment without a bluetooth adapter. Enter AirPods max where I can get trip-length battery, comfort, and the ability to wire in to a headphone jack and maintain the active noise cancelling (reason I chose these over the newer USB-C option). This are not yet my everyday choice, but I use them walking around the house, for work, and 10000% for travel.

Try Them to Appreciate Them.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There has been much said about these headphones, most by people who’ve never actually used them. I agree that $550 is quite a bit for a pair of BT over-the-ear headphones when you compare to the Sony and Bose models, at least on “paper”. But then you get them, open the box, feel the quality, pair with ease, and hear for the first time. Then you realize they sound this good, and yet still will sound better once they are properly broken in after significant hours of usage. - Spatial works amazingly well. - Noise Cancellation is superb. - Transparency mode sounds like it’s live. - Digital Crown works just right. - Quality is worth more than $550 The case sucks. It’s the downside to the AirPods Max outfit; and seriously Apple owes us all an apology, and a free case once they get rid of this stupid one! Overall, the soundstage is amazing and I’m listening to tracks I haven’t listened to for awhile, just to hear the music again. I’d recommend Amazon HD music, and a hardwire connection for best results. That being said, the Bluetooth transfer quality with Amazon HD music is quite good, with Apple Music a close second. Highly recommend, if you have it in your budget.

Great in Almost Every Way, But the Negatives. . .
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The AirPods Max are great in many ways. Supreme connectivity to all Apple Devices; arguably the best noise canceling on any headphones; contains the best transparency mode on any headphones. But there is one major negative that was a huge downfall for me personally. The headphones structure doesn’t fit my head. I do wear glasses and that is part of the issue I had; however, even without glasses, I found the comfort to be lackluster. The top headband is like a mix between traditional headbands and new ski mask headbands offered by companies like Corsair and SteelSeries. This headband blend doesn’t work for me. In addition, the super soft and almost goofy ear cushions lack any form of “suction” and make it nearly impossible to stay on my face. If you’re charging almost $600 for headphones, they need to be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT in every way. The AirPods Max are not. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and ended up returning them.

Amazing Headset, Just Add A Third Party Case
|Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, I can full heartedly suggest you buy the AirPods Max. Quality of materials is insanely good for what you're paying for. A lot of manufacturers opt for cheaper materials in order to save cost as well as weight in this category. I get it, when it comes to the weight aspect, but in terms of durability, if you're spending $500 on headphones, I fully expect metal, if not a high quality wood exterior. They're closed backs, and yes, a lot of audiophiles would cringe at the audio processing on board as they want that untouched sound, but honestly, for the average listener, they're astoundingly good. The bass is impactful yet tight, vocals are clear and light, it's just... balanced. You would be hard pressed to get these drivers to distort when listening to them. Plus, if you're in the Apple Ecosystem, you should absolutely get them. My only suggestion and gripe is that you get a third party case as well as covers for each headphone in addition to the headset. The cups love to touch when you move them around, which probably will scratch over time. Additionally, the included "case" is just not that great. Sorry Apple, I have to say the case is a bad design. Fantastic product though!

Excellent noise cancellation
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these mainly for the noise cancellation, and the fact that I dislike earbuds. Both the noise cancellation and transparency modes work very well. They're comfortable, and less fatiguing than expected over long stretches, given the weight. They also (as expected) work very well for those with multiple Apple devices.

As usual, Apple sells quality products that work
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is based on feedback from someone whose technology is overwhelmingly through Apple. The functionality is probably the best feature here. Right out of the box, they just work seamlessly. Exactly the same as AirPods, or other Apply headphones, these just plain work. In terms of sound, it's pretty good. Before these, I had Bose QC-35II and those were good. I would say these are on par with those, maybe a bit better. The Active Noise Cancelling feature works pretty good too. Better than my Bose did for sure. As a frequent flyer, I don't fly without them and the Apple AirPods Max are definitely an improvement. Comfort - they are pretty heavy for headphones, no doubt about it. However, they are still pretty comfy, even on long flights of 3 hours or more. In spite of some initial concerns, after giving them a try now on several flights, I think these are more comfortable than the Bose. Battery life seems to be fine. No issues there.

Outstanding sound quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding sound quality and excellent noise cancellation are the 2 things I love. I bought these to replace AirPods Pro that would never stay seated in my ears. These solve the issue and provide a better overall experience. Much better battery life and comfortable to wear all day. My only complaint is that they're somewhat heavy.

Near Perfect ANC and sound.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Near Perfect headphones with ANC. I thought allot about buying a over the ear headphones for movies and tv. Features and so forth. The buttons are very intuitive. Really good bluetooth connection from all the way through 2 stair ways. I live fairly decently sized house. I'm in the attic allot that was converted to a office. The sound Is really good. I wear this. I thought about Bose which came fairly close. But the Sony were not in my radar. The Noise cancel performance is strong. But from the reviews the sound quality is hampered to the point where its distracting. I'm a Iphone/ipad user too. I also have a old 15inch 2014 macbook pro. The switching from the iphone and the ipad is well done. I have not used the macbook pro too much. But it does work with its features. This works well with windows too. The physical buttons and the ability to use lightning port as a 3.5mm aux is great. once you connect the expensive apple cable to the aux port. It turns off the bluetooth, This is good enough for minor critical listening. I have seen reviews where its a no go. But you know if something isn't recorded right. Especially on a youtube video where clipping and over modulation is a factor. You can even tell if stereo capsule on a youtube streaming mic is off when the person speaks into the mike. The detail is too much. Now this not a flat headphones. Its an unusual scoop type with clarity and good base. Not crazy base like a skull candy headphone. I have tried this for working out. It is fine. But the performance is about the same as any other noise canceling headphone with the wicked cushion third party accessory. I would not recommend going to hard with sweat without those wicked cushions. I have seen other people at the gym with these. These are not the best but serviceable. It will do the job. Its not ear hook ear buds. The airpods pro 2 with that wicked cushion accessory is what I recommend if you plan on going crazy at the gym being all sweaty after words. I got these because of the summer weather and the always on ac in the office with a big tv with bluetooth. Its excellent with for watching movies and listening to music. This what I got it for. Especially since I can't have loud speakers late at night. The hear through is 1 to 1 too. Its great when your talking to some one and you don't want to take these off. The spacial audio is good Dolby Atmos is good too. I do not have allot of experience with this though. The case is fine. Its a travel case really. Which is fine because the airpods max I keep in the house. I am happy enough that I bought the airpods pro 2 also. I Use that walking and working out. Hope this is insightful.

Sincere Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The AirPods Max is the best pair of headphones that I've owned. The sound quality is crisp and powerful; you can hear every detail, whether it’s the lyrics, instruments, or bass. The active noise cancellation works incredibly well, blocking out distractions so you can focus on your music or work. Transparency mode feels natural too, letting you stay aware of your surroundings without losing clarity.

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brilliant! Great sound. Very comfortable, simple connectivity to the Appleverse. Button controls instead of hard to find and use sweeps and taps. Downsides - no USB-C adapter; silly case leaves $600 headphones far too exposed; the only bi-directional cable available (to feed sound to the 'phones for airline use etc) comes from Apple for nearly $40!

Fantastic headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic sound - totally enveloping, comfortable, well built. Perfect integration with Apple source devices. Noise cancellation is top tier. I also like how they don’t stick out from your head as much as other headphones - sleek look. Everyone complains about the case, but it’s actually not that bad, especially if you’re putting these inside a backpack or something. Plus there are plenty of inexpensive full case options out there.
