These are excellent headphones; they have superb sound quality, stellar noise cancellation, decent bass, and they look very unique. I would easily rate these a 5/5 but there are a few very major setbacks that compelled me to return them at the end of the day. First off, the case SUCKS! I don’t know what they were thinking when they decided to release these headphones at $550 with a case like that! This case is flimsy, barely covers the headphones, offers no protection and it is just plain ugly, the case alone devalues these headphones by at least $50. Another setback is the bass; the bass is subpar at best. It is decent but headphones like Sony MX4 or Bose NC700 have way better bass. The headphones are also VERY heavy! You absolutely know that you’re wearing them the whole time you do wear them and it sucks. Last but not least that price is DISGUSTING. Again, these headphones are excellent but could easily be better. Are they worth the $550 price tag? ABSOLUTELY NOT. For about $200 less you can get other headphones better than these. I do very much like what they’re selling here and look forward to seeing the necessary improvements in their next pair.

Very comfortable and excellent piece of equipment. They are very light sk very easy to carry. If you are in the market for headphones, definitely need to consider.

I couldn't live without these. The sound quality when paired with Apple Music and their premium quality Lossless spatialized audio is phenomenal. They are comfortable and fold up for easy storage and transportation.

I really like the blue color. I don’t enjoy having anything in my ears so these are perfect. I wear them to clean my house and walking. They are super comfortable.

This review likely won't say anything that hasn't already been written, but maybe it'll help someone. I was looking for over-the-ear noise-canceling wireless headphones for travel and occasional use while doing chores around the house. I was considering Bose and Sony, since both got great reviews and I've been really happy with the Bose Quiet Comfort wired earbuds. I love my Airpods Pro, except they don't like to stay in my ears and I can't imaging wearing them for hours on end. The Airpods Max went on sale a few weeks ago, which helped me get over the sticker shock. I use them with my iPhone 12 Max Pro and iPad Pro exclusively. The sound is deep and crystal clear. I couldn't imagine better sound. The fit is super comfortable. I could likely wear them throughout an international flight with ease. Storage is awkward with their little flappy case, but I'll either buy a third party case or keep them in a protective camera backpack I use for travel. Just wait til they're on sale.

I got these for my 13 year old. My kid loves the silver/white color. Great sound. My kid is always wearing them and he can still hear me while wearing them. Easy to clean.

I'm still using my headset up to very convenient and quality purchase.

Potion these from my brother for Christmas. He was more than grateful to receive them. They look really nice on.

So this joker is a bit heavy. I wish the colors were more pink than this dark coral. The sound quality and noise cancellation is great. At this point the price is for the Brand not quality

The noise cancellation on these is exceptional! Overall, I love the headphones. The battery life is very good, I only charge it once a week. The connectivity to my devices is seamless, the sound quality is great, and they are sleek and easy to carry around. However, they cause bad headaches at the beginning. You would need to break them in by using them a lot or just expanding them for a couple of seconds to make them not too tight on your ears.

In my opinion these have been worth every penny. I tried a Bose and Sony, which each had their perks. But the color, style, comfort and functionality of AirPods Max are the best. The transparency mode is great for work from home calls so my voice doesn’t sound muffled like with other over the ear headphones. I wear them all day and they last the full work day without discomfort. They work great with windows, iPhone, zoom and teams. Best investment in my work from home situation in a long time. Maybe not meant for a DJ or someone looking for a lot of bass and sound options.

My girlfriend just got them for me not to long ago and after seeing everyone’s opinion on it online. I’m glad I didn’t listen Iv had no problem with the weight of the headphones when I go to the gym. I did buy extra accessories from Amazon if I used them at the gym. They look great and sound amazing I can’t hear anything when the noise cancellation is on and I’m listening to music or watching a show. I takes me to my own world but when I need to check back into reality and someone is talking to me. The button navigation is easy to turn on transparency mode. Ignore all the negative options online if you are a fan of Apple like me. Then you are going to love these headphones.

Lovely item! Quality sound and quality item. A nice item

These are awesome headphones and like all Apple products, they integrate so very well with the rest of my Apple universe (iPhone, iPads, MacBook Air, etc.). The sound is superior in my opinion and the Spatialize Stereo function actually increases the music audio performance nicely. The simple switch button between ANC and Transparency Mode works great and I very much like Transparency Mode. When you have your headphones on and your wife want to chat, just click the button and she comes in loud and clear. I swear that I can actually hear better with my headphones on and Transparency Mode on than I can hear with my headphones off! The volume dial works great, but I did switch the default high/low setting direction because it seemed wrong to me. It’s simple to reverse the direction in settings if you feel the same. My only complaint is that the headphones are not adjustable like virtually every other set of headphones I have owned before. I have a larger head, so the fit on my head is slightly tighter than I’d prefer. It’s acceptable, but not as comfortable as the fit with my Bose QC 35’s that are fully adjustable. If you have a larger head, definitely try these on at the store before you buy just so you are ok with the comfort of the fit on your head. I would have thought Apple could have added some adjustability into these things to make a better fit more available to those of us in the “larger head community”. Hah! But other than that, I think you’ll like these AirPods Max. My rating: 4 1/2 stars (minus 1/2 star due to lack of adjustability).

Apple products are my faveorite. These are noise canceling and there is a second button offered on these if you want some background noise which I like to use as well. They automatically disconnect when you take them off which I like as well.
