Wow! I was skeptical about paying $500 for headphones. HOWEVER, I was NOT disappointed! They are Amazing! The noise cancelling is nothing like I have ever used before, the sound quality, the feel is top tier! If you are on the fence about them, trust me buy them you will not be disappointed. I go to the gym alot and to block out the background noise is perfect, they don’t fall off when exercising, I’ve even ran with them. They “hug” your ears! Happy Buying!!!

The Apple AirPods Max offers a premium listening experience with excellent sound quality, clear mids, and deep bass. The active noise cancellation is effective, making it a great choice for immersing yourself in music or blocking out ambient noise. However, the sound level is on the lower side compared to other high-end headphones, which may not satisfy those looking for louder volume levels. While the build quality is solid, the headphones are quite heavy, which could be uncomfortable for long periods of use, especially during activities like exercising. The over-ear design is comfortable for extended listening sessions, but because of the weight, these headphones might not be the best fit for the gym or outdoor workouts. The Lightning connection is convenient for Apple users, but it may limit compatibility with non-Apple devices. Overall, the AirPods Max is a good choice for home listening or commuting, but its weight and lower sound levels might not make it the best option for active use.

Good sound quality with clear bass, miss and highs. In my opinion they sound much better, richer and fuller than the Sony WH-1000XM4. The headphones are easy to listen to for an hour or more and I do not notice any fatigue. They are heavy, but the headband is unlike anything else I have used before and does a very good job to distribute the weight on the top of the head such that I do not feel that comfort is an issue even after more than an hour of wear. I did not experience any condensation buildup as others have reported. Noise cancellation is best in class and the transparency mode is superior to both Bose and Sony. Unlike the Sony WH-1000XM4 and its XM3 predecessor (both of which I’ve owned), the AirPods Max do exhibit some sound leaking. This may or may not be a problem when listening at night depending on volume level and other person’s sensitivity.

Great headphones overall i love all the features of them

I’m a headphone-head through and through. I’ve owned Shure IEMs, Sennheiser HD660, Sennheiser HD8, and recently HifiMan HE-500s. The Airpods Max trades evenly for sound quality, while also having features like wireless, active noise cancelling, and transparency. Wireless works great with both Apple devices and using Bluetooth. I have great range and can leave my phone in one room while walking around taking a call. Active noise cancellation is better than the latest Bose, easily. When it’s on, you barely hear anything. Transparency is also amazing, turning it on makes you forget you’re even wearing them, which is also due to the extremely comfortable earcups and headband design. Just wow. I love these.

The Apple AirPods Max are an excellent choice for those deeply invested in the Apple ecosystem and seeking high-quality audio with effective noise cancellation. While they come with a premium price tag and have a few design quirks, the overall experience they offer is impressive. They're particularly recommended for Apple users who will appreciate the added benefits of seamless device integration and exclusive features like spatial audio. With a 20 hr battery life I would say they’re pretty good.

I was excited about purchasing these headphones. The price tag was very steep for a pair of heaphones, but since i have everything else apple and ive lost 3 pair of AirPods, I said why not. Battery life- 10/10 Design 7/5 - lightweight, cozy enough for long trips without pain on ears. Sound 6/10 -I assumed they would be louder, not as loud as my beats, but still decent enough to keep. My favorite is the noise cancellation 10/10- even without listening to something the heaphones cancel outnoise overall im satified but i feel like they arent the best for the price tag.

Bought this for my fiancé as a Christmas gift and she LOVES IT. I tried them a few times and the sound is phenomenal.

These headphones are top-notch. Absolutely amazing. Apple does it again. The quality and the noise cancellation are phenomenal. And the design is perfect. Especially for traveling on long flights with lots of noise. Added bonus was the wonderful customer service that I received from a gentleman by the name of Brian at the Doral store. He was attentive and took care of all our needs. Thank you Best Buy for making sure that we have quality customer service. It's been diminishing in the retail world, but Brian came through for us!

Good quality headphones but sometimes won’t connect to my phone

Decent. I thought they would be louder. I like them but could have gone with something else for cheaper.

They are pricey, but for my use very well worth it. I work in a "open" office environment with a lot of cubes/desks so naturally a lot of "noise". These do a fantastic job of blocking out most of all the office noise and they work great as a headset for meetings. The mic doesn't pickup the ambiant noise and my voice is clear. The battery isn't too bad. I use them about 7-9 hours a day and can get about 3 days out of them before they start warning about a low battery. This wasn't a big deal as I will try and plug them in during lunch or meetings away from my desk.

Airpods were great even after 2 years of everyday use. Have not had any issues!

Just can’t get any better. Sound quality, noise canceling are top notch. Build quality is very nice compared to other Bluetooth headphones. Yes pricey but Best Buy will price match to Amazon saved me even more.

Love my headsets I use it for work conference mostly and they lady all day without having to charge it. The only issue I have is that if I use it outside it gets sweating and would like to clean it

Overall sound quality is good but for those that are using these for the gym and have small heads these will constantly be sliding off. Also I’ve recently been having issues with charging them. Would recommended getting apple care

I’ve been waiting for Apple to come out with their own over ear headphones ever since the first generation of AirPods came out. And I’m happy to say that I was disappointed in any way at all. They’ve done an excellent job and I can definitely say for consumer use headphones, they take the top spot. The transparency mode alone is a lot better than any of the other premium headphones I’ve had over the years then you get into the noise cancellation mode. Beautiful beautiful beautiful switch between. Most of my friends say I’m just fan boying but I genuinely think Apple really took the time to really perfect this before sending it out and I’m very greatful for that.
