Let’s get it out of the way. The shelf price of these is just too much compared to some competitors. I bought my set open-box and burned my gift card stash to bring the cost down to a level I was happy with paying. Four stars instead of five just for the cost. That said, these are excellent headphones sound-wise and would get five stars if it were on sound alone! I’ve used them on an airplane and had one of the best travel listening experiences ever. The noise cancellation is amazing for that kind of situation and the Transparency feature lets in outside sounds just as well for when I expressly don’t want to tune out the world. I’m not an audiophile and don’t have a giant library of lossless recordings that I’m nitpicking but for everyday listening the sound is off the charts good. I’ll also say that you will probably want a nicer case than the one they come with. While it protects against scratches, that’s about it. For headphones this pricy, I wanted more protection. Bottom line? Great headphones, but try to buy them on sale.

Overall sound quality is good but for those that are using these for the gym and have small heads these will constantly be sliding off. Also I’ve recently been having issues with charging them. Would recommended getting apple care

I have multiple noise cancelling headsets including the Bose QC45, Sony XM4 and this one rocks. My primary use is on flights. All noise just melts away in this, just like the Sony and Bose. Sounds quality is pristine and stellar. What I love is the minimalist case on this. I know the case has been dissed and meme'ed all over the Internet, but it is supremely practical when lugging around in my backpack. In fact I now wish the Sony and Bose headsets came with such a case. Plus I love the volume knob and ANC button on it. They are very tactile and super easy to get used to.

Good pair of headphones, use it at the gym mostly, but expensive.

These are amazing. The charge holds for hours on end and the special audio feature makes listening to your favorite songs so much better. The noise cancellation feature took some getting used to for me but I cannot stop telling people about them! Perfect airplane headphones.

They are amazingly well equipped with audio sound it gets you in a momentum when you least expect to find yourself listening to the music podcast that gets you in a hype mood it’s. A must listen to on own experience hands on it’s a very suitable device to use when working out at the gym as well as watching movies on your own time the only thing I wouldn’t recommend is laying down with them on a a regular pillow you must have a plushy pillow were you can sink your head in with the headphones only way it work

i love these so much. i was between these and a few other competing head phones but these are so clean and now even an accessory to all my fits. theyre heavier that some others but imo its not too bad and i kind of associate it with higher quality (whether or not thats true). when it comes to sound quality i think its amazing and although there may be better the look is what drew me in and if you’re not picky on finding the best of the best for sound quality i think these with be just fine

Crazy headaches that cause nausea when you first start using them. Especially if you have never used noise cancelling/haven’t used it in a while. The metal headband is very durable so i recommend bending it completely straight for ten seconds if it feels too tight. I wish the noise cancelling was a but stronger but i found that purchasing silicone covers for the fabric ear portion helps block more sound.

I bought these for my daughter as a Christmas gift. She loves them. The quality is very good and the price wasn't to bad.

Mind blowing. Usually you get a multipurpose item that maybe does what it’s supposed to do kinda, well, meh. Nothing does it do well, but it does all things it says to some extent. The AirPods Max are beyond excellent at noise cancellation. They are theater like in a way I’ve never heard a headphone sound, and the build quality is second to nothing on the market bar-none. This is not negotiable. So as far as do I recommend my purchase? If you take the time to appreciate things that are the pinnacle of what they are designed for? Absolutely! I regret not one cent of what I paid for these and it was just regular price. Simply amazing thing that Apple has managed to accomplish with the Max.

These are by far the best headphones I’ve ever owned. The microphone quality is perfect when I’m on a Teams call for work. At the gym I can tune out my surroundings and still feel like I’m listening to my bands live. While gaming, I get sucked into the world and it feels like I’m living the game. If you don’t have these yet, you are in for a treat when you get them! P.S. I am horrible with remembering to charge my headsets. This one keeps up with only needing to be charged about once a week for me. Absolutely in love with everything about this!

The transparency and ANC modes on these are amazing, better than the experience you will get from the earbud style AirPods Pro. It’s great to have Siri integrated as well. The listening experience is great but they are heavy and will move on your head. There are products out there to cover the headband to keep them from moving and also protect the mesh. There are also products to cover the inner and outer portion of ear pieces because they will scratch or dent if you are not careful with them, the ear cans are made out of aluminum which is a softer metal. These are not for everyone and you will either love them or hate them. If you like luxury listening for long periods of time, and you are an apple loyal consumer these will be great for you.

My wife really enjoys them. Comfortable fit. I still think you can find a better pair of headphones for ths same price but thats just my opinion. Works seemlessly with apple devices. It can work with other devices however i dont recomend. Overall i gave it a 5 because it is exactly what my wife needed and came as advertized here. If you think you want a good sounding comfortable headset that is easy to pair with you apple devices this is for you. Maybe try and get it on sale if you can.

Use these in the gym everyday amazing noise cancellation the only bad thing is they slip off kind of easy

I went back and fourth with getting them because of the price I just wanted to make sure it was worth it. I got the space grey, I love them. I saw a lot of reviews that mentioned they didn’t like the battery life but I have no problem with it. Love the ability to turn the noise canceling on and off. They are perfect for travel I wore them on the plane w/the noise canceling on and my ears didn’t pop at all. Stop thinking about it and get them.

Nothing but good things to say about the Apple Air Pods Max, minus the price. 5 stars though because we all know the price. It is not a surprise. The green color was exactly what my spouse wanted, and I was happy to see that Best Buy had them in stock for pickup. The sound quality is what you would expect from apple. The noise cancelation is especially helpful on airplane trips. The best thing about Apple products is the ease of use. Would recommend to anyone! Good purchase would buy again.

Bought these for the spatial audio to use with my Apple TV 4K instead of using my AirPods Pro. Theyre overpriced but I’m glad Best Buy was able to price match with amazon, use my Best Buy points and gift cards so i paid less than $400 for them. Sound is good but for those who like bass in their music id suggest the skullcandy crusher ANC that cost less than the AirPods max and skullcandy comes with wired a headphone cable as a option to use them wired instead of wireless as the airpods max doesnt you will have to pay a additional $30+ for that lightning to 3.5mm male cable or if you have a male to male audio cable laying around you can use the $9 apple lightning to 3.5mm male adapter to save some money. The smart case is terrible as you need it to place the headphones to sleep as the headphones dont have a physical on/off button. The material is aluminum and i fear they will scratch one day as when removing/inserting them in/out of the case they click on the corner edges. I will continue to use them for watching movies on the Apple TV or iPad containing spatial audio when i dont want to bother those around me and for some music that doesnt have much bass in them but for the rest of my music that have bass i will use the skullcandy crusher ANC.
