I run a small recording studio and have a speaker system probably worth 10,000$ all told. Do these sound better than that? No. They don't, really. But they sound good. And they look gorgeous. I'm not gonna lie, that's why I got them instead of Sony's offering. Who doesn't like good design? Who doesn't like to touch something that is really beautifully crafted? I do at least. Anyway, I'm not totally sure I'd say this is a smart way to spend 500 dollars. But I'm not that smart. I'm kind of a weirdo. And I thought these were neat, so I got them. I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could; close to perfect.

THE best noise canceling over the ear headphones on the market. The sound quality out of these are second to none as well, and the noise cancelling is incredibly good. Put it in ambient sound mode and it feels like you don't even have headphones on.

These are fantastic. I have never liked the earphones that go inside your ear. So I decided to purchase these. I got a great deal for Black Friday, which helped justify the cost. But they are lightweight and amazing for noise cancellation, Bluetooth, etc. The sound quality is exactly what I would expect from an Apple product - and I like that I can listen to the world around me if I choose to block it out. I am very happy with the purchase.

My wife loved these. Hige fan of the color and appearance. I end up trying to steal from her diring workouts because of the impeccable sound in comparison to my Bose 700.

The sound is great but they get heavy and put pressure near the ear after a while

Amazing quality and comfort! The connection speed is great. The noise cancellation is an easy button. No need to take off the headphones when you need to have a conversation. Truly a must have for all Apple users.

Best headphones I’ve ever had. I am new to the whole Apple ecosystem, but so far, I’m extremely pleased with these. I am quite the audiophile, so having a good pair of headphones is extremely important. They are very very comfortable, and the sound quality is quite good. I also really like the active noise cancellation, and the active listening is better than any other pair I’ve had with the same feature. Definitely recommend. They are very pricey, but very worth it. I just wish Apple would make it to where they go into low power mode, or have the option to turn them off without putting them in that awkward case.

Finally able to get these and couldn’t be happier. I love watching rock concert videos on Apple TV and sometimes I pull these off to be sure it’s not playing outside of the headphones and bothering the neighbors lol. Sounds perfect and great for movies and shows as well. I mostly use for Apple Music, phone calls and ANC. If you’re on the fence or wondering if they are worth it, I say yes! Highly recommend.

Noice cancellation at its finest. Only the white gets dirty though the earcups come off, you’ll see water inside if you move around with these. I’d prefer marshal OTE with ANC but Apple is always a safe bet.

Great headphones. The best I’ve ever had in my life.

I really wanted to like these. I think they have pretty great sound quality but I wear reasonably thick glasses and I found these really uncomfortable to wear. I can't really imagine these being good with any glasses to be honest. Other than that I think they are really great.

Good sound quality, adjustable, able to switch between my phone and laptop easily without any issues! Love using them to take my dogs on walks and still being able to hear my surroundings
