I have brought SonyXM4. If you have iPhone and Apple ecosystem- this one is the best. It’s ease of use and the quality is unbeatable. This is the best active noise canceling headphones in the market - period. At start I was hesitant to buy as I felt heavy. I have been using for 6 months and I don’t feel it. It’s fantastic. It’s sturdy. When you have Sony it feels plastic . This is metal and the best quality and sturdiness. Yea the cover looks super cheap and that’s the only thing to complain. I guess tou are big e guy to live with it

I was on the fence about these headphones for a while after they came out. I already had the Bose NC700 headphones, so I didn't NEED new headphones, but I've fully drank the Apple kool-aid so the attraction was there. I finally broke down and purchased them. I used them for about 2 weeks including several cross country flights. In the end, I returned them to Best Buy as there just wasn't enough improvements there for the huge cost increase over the Bose. Pros: - Great sound. Really solid sound with great range. It's truly impressive. - Good Noise Cancelling. Works great, but really not better than the Bose. I like that Apple kept it simple and NC is either on or off. No annoying multiple levels like Bose or Sony. - Solid build. No plastics here. These things are built like a tank. - Great switching between Apple devices. I switched between an iPhone, iPad, Macbook, and AppleTV seemlessly. It made things so easy. Cons- - Heavy. That solid build I liked came with a big weight penalty. These were extremely heavy compared to the Bose and it bothered me after an hour or two of wear. Because of the weight, the headphone shifted often when I moved and I'd have to readjust them. Every time I grabbed the cans to readjust, I would hit one of the buttons and pause the music or turn off the noise cancelling. I could probably learn not to do this but over 2 weeks, I did this a lot. - Hot. The ear cushions were very comfortable. I thought they'd have more breathability than the faux leather on the Bose units, but I was wrong. My ears got very hot and sweaty after just a short time wearing them. I could see visible moisture in the cans when I took them off. This never happened with the Bose. - Case. The case is ridiculous. Seriously, it's embarrassing. It covers the cans, but I was constantly worried about the fabric on the headband tearing while in my backpack when travelling. I ended up buying a $30 case off Amazon to protect them better. Also, while in the Apple case, the low power mode only kicked in occasionally. A few times I went to bed with the headphones at 80% only to take them out the next morning at 20%. Really annoying. Just put a power button on it. - Cost. Even with a $50 discount while on sale, these are VERY expensive. Despite how much I liked the sound, NC, etc. They were just not worth $200 more than the Bose. Maybe gen 2 will have a lower price point and a workable case. I'd definately consider them again, but these ahd to go back for a refund.

These are a great set of over the ear headphones. I’m stuck in the Apple Ecosystem. They pair easily. I love the spatial.

Absolutely fantastic headphones. seamless connection between numerous Apple devices, outstanding sound quality, top of the line noise cancellation, industry leading transparency mode, and Incredible build quality. You get used to the no power button, and the bra like case Apple gives you do preserve the battery life, although doesn’t provide any protection. Sadly, that’s where the positives come to an end. I understand these aren’t meant to be worn out and about but even inside condensation forms in the earcups after an hour or so. Along with that, they often cut out/stutter when using Bluetooth, no lossless support, and you have to pay for the Apple cable to make them work wired. Overall these headphones are the best I’ve ever owned, but they don’t come without their issues. If I was in the market for them knowing what I know now, I’d only purchase them if they were on sale.

Love my new AirPods Max and it sounds amazing. My only gripe is that is does feel very compressing on the ears after having them on for quite awhile. So I no longer travel with them and only use them at home.

Noise cancellation is amazing, feel is amazing, sound is premium (I’m not an audiophile or purist). I wish I had bought these a long time ago. So very impressed. Zero connection problems, batter is fine, doesn’t really last an eternity but can’t see ever running out between chances to charge it at home.

These are amazing headphones for those in the Apple ecosystem! They connect seamlessly between devices and sound perfect on Apple Music! They even make for great headphones on my Windows desktop as they connect with normal Bluetooth as well. The sound quality is great and clear, and the battery life lasts me a day of gaming. These are perfect headphones!

I have been wearing the airpods pro for the past year and they were really great, but after switching to the airpods max, I have found that the max has worked more for my needs. I am a student and spend a million years studying in the library, and having a comfortable pair of headphones with a long battery life and good sound quality was a must have. These headphones fit that and also have the bonus of being able to be incoorperated into my style. The headphones have a bit of heft and will take a few uses to break them in, but afterwards I forgot that they were on my head. It is also really nice to see that you can know where it is via find my.

Excellent sounding wireless over the head, headphones! Apple got these right for almost all customers needs! In comparison with the competitors, sound equals, battery has been lasting better than marketed and better than my high end headsets/phones, microphone is excellent and beats equal priced competitors in sound and close noise reduction. Where I believe Apple could have increased value without increasing price, would have been to integrate more of apples touch features and a MagSafe wireless charging ability! Overall I really like this set of headphones but still think they could have been more competitive and to reach a greater customer base by reducing price or by adding existing innovative Apple features within the current price!

Wow. These are extremely nice. The price is outrageous, but I can never fit airpods (or any other earbuds) in my ears without discomfort. These are perfect for all the small ear peeps out there.

Its an Apple should be the beginning and end. This is my 2nd, the 1st still works just needed backup cos i use it for work. I have Bose, Sont etc headphones but Apple’s the only one i use now. The others i use ceremonially.

very good sound quality really like the headphone only thing is i would say is the grip isn’t too good sometimes it slips off the head when working out

The AirPods Max has a wonderful sound quality and the piece is flexible and easy to wear.

I had the AirPods Max for 1 week before I returned them to Best Buy. While I think the premium materials were used outstandingly to make the headphones and the sound quality is very good, the headphones have some huge cons that prevent me from allowing myself to pay the large price tag and love them. First, the headphones are very large and do not fit a small-to-average adult head. Due to this and the heaviness of the headphones, they move around quite a bit when on. Also, having no ability to power these off allow the battery to die quickly. Even when using the smart case, I found that I would only be able to use them for a few hours one or two times before they immediately needed to be charged again. Not sustainable, especially for someone that wanted to use these while traveling. I hope Apple makes some much needed improvements.
