We bought these for our son. He is a freshman in college and needed new headphones. These have excellent noise canceling and clear sound. They are a little heavier than other headphones. And he doesn’t like that you can’t turn them off. They wake up when you put them on but he wears them on his head all the time. And the stay on. They do have great battery life.

I love these headphones! I have never been a fan of over the head phones like these, but decided to switch from my airpods pro. My airpods pros would die constantly, around the same time each day. These last multiple days off one charge! The sound is amazing and they are so comfortable!! The only issue is that my devices will not always connect. Sometimes I have to go to the Bluetooth menu and choose them.

Of course all Apple products are high quality, and I’m generally a fan of every one I’ve ever bought. These are really impressive! The noise canceling is fantastic and the headphones are very comfortable. I love the pink color as well. It took me a minute to figure out which earcup was left and which was right. I finally happened to see that “R” and “L” are sewn into the interior fabric of each earcup. I love these headphones! I had the Beats Studio 3s before these, and they were great too. But I do think the AirPods Max edge the Beats out a bit.

i've had cheaper alternatives that worked well except, i can't switch between different devices as easily. these are a bit heavy but comfortable. the spatial audio is interesting. there are times i had to remove my headphones just to make sure the sound is coming from the headphones and not my laptop. and when i turn my head away from my laptop, the sound adjust. it's a trip. the ear foams are magnetically attached and easily replaced. i've had some old bose that i really liked and it's hard to replace the worn ear cups as they are glued on. you kinda have to buy a new one at that point. at least these can be replaced, unfortunately, they are a bit pricey. hopefully some 3rd party brands will come out with a cheaper alternative. over priced but if you are in the apple ecosystem, you have no choice. i can switch between my iphone, apple tv, and macbook pro seamlessly. that probably the best feature in my opinion. find these on sale or open box.

These really make you feel like you're in your own world. I've flown 6 times since purchasing these and each time, I never felt like I was on an airplane. Noise Cancellation is amazing, seriously- walk through an airport with these on and there are 0 distractions. Watching movies, I can feel the low bass rumble and the high's are crispy. All in all- these are super solid!! Connects instantly to the devices paired and can swap between devices with no issue. I really have no complaints at all.

Phenomenal sound, excellent connectivity with all my Apple devices and very comfortable. The draw back is doing activities while manually adjusting sound either from a phone of the headphones themselves.

Not a single time did these give me a headache. They are so comfortable to me! I love the sound. The noise cancellation is top notch. The price is the only thing that took me a long time to justify. I saw they might be expanding the color options next year in 2024 and im very excited for a second pair. Maybe. I purchased silicone protectors for it on amazon so it would not get scratched. Definitely recommend if you love listening to music all the time. They charge quickly and the batter lasts so long.

The AirPods Max (APM) have impressed me! Coming from Sony XM3s, I had high expectations since those were really great. There’s no competition here, APM are superior. I use these with my iPhone 12 Mini (also fantastic) and they are a dream. Quick and painless to pair. Sound is above Sony and Bose. You can really hear the separation with instruments, it’s unique and makes listening to older songs almost sound new again. Not using Apple’s special audio, even. Battery is fine! I get 20ish hours a charge and that’s with ANC on 90% of the time. No complaints. Transparency mode is incredible, really. With it on it almost seems like you don’t have headphones on. It sounds just as if you were in the room with someone. Would I buy again? Yes, without hesitation.

I recently purchased the AirPod Max Pro from Best Buy, and I must say, these headphones have completely blown me away. This is my first experience with these Apple - AirPods Max. They have the Lightning port, so I save a few bucks, but I’m telling ya, these sound so amazing! They’re built really good and feel extremely comfortable and yet super stable. I really love the noise cancellation option at just a simple tap of the button. I still have a set of 2nd gen air pods that’ve been through the washing machine a couple times, but I’m seriously enjoying some music, these AirPods Max are my go to! Definitely worth the money. Highly recommended!

Great sound. Very comfortable! A little heavier on the head than other similar headphones, but even with that more comfortable than other sets! My one wish would be for more flexibility to adjust sound to preferred type settings when using outside of Apple Music (and even in Apple Music).

Great set of headphones! Expensive but the build quality is definitely there. There’s some weight to these headphones especially compared to average plastic headphones but I personally don’t find them overly heavy just enough to emphasize their build quality. Sound quality is very true, won’t blow your mind with powerful bass but they still sound great! Transparency and noise isolation is by far some of the best in any headphone. If you’re used to AirPod Pros these are such a step above, noise isolation works great on the pros but it’s amazing on the Max’s, best airplane headphones I’ve ever owned. The transparency mode on the Pro’s was never all that great, if you know what I mean it’ll blow your mind on the Max’s because transparency mode works very well and has become so much more useful especially in the gym, which brings me to the controls. Also designed very well, they’re simple and intuitive. You won’t find yourself fidgeting with these to switch between songs or modes and I love the crown to lower or raise the volume. The buttons are programable to a certain extent. So yes they’re expensive but they are well designed and very well built and very comfortable to wear.

Absolutely love them. Best sound quality headphones I've ever had and ease of use is spectacular. I can wear these for hours comfortably, even with the weight. But after 5 or so hours, they do start to get uncomfortable. Wearing them while working sucks because they are very warm. You can definitely get better quality wired headphones for a similar price or cheaper, but if wireless is what you need then these are a great choice.

I purchased an open-box pair of AirPods Max from Best Buy, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The headphones arrived in excellent, like-new condition—clean, perfectly packaged, and fully functional. Honestly, I couldn’t tell they were open-box at all. The sound quality is absolutely phenomenal—rich bass, crystal-clear highs, and incredible balance across all genres. Noise cancellation works flawlessly, and transparency mode feels natural and immersive. They’re also extremely comfortable, even during long listening sessions. Pairing with my Apple devices was instant and seamless, just as you’d expect from Apple. Battery life has been great, and the overall build quality feels premium and durable. Once again, Best Buy delivered amazing value with their open-box program. I saved money while still receiving a top-tier, premium product in outstanding condition. I would highly recommend open-box AirPods Max from Best Buy to anyone looking for high-end audio without paying full retail price. Excellent value and an excellent experience all around.

A very nice pair of over ear headphones, high quality product from Apple. Outstanding noise cancellation feature, spatial audio and transparency mode. The sleek design is very appealing. However I decide to return the item to Best Buy, the weight is a bit on the heavy side, I cannot wear it over half hour, feeling painful of my neck. Hope apple can improve this aspect in its next generation headphones.

I'm a musician, and certainly an audiophile. I have a partner with the Sony WH-1000XM4, and I've been drooling over her headphones ever since. "Do I get myself a pair of those? Or the Airpod Max?" I spent months going back and forth. It was that $550 price that kept me from jumping in. I thought I was ridiculous paying that much for headphones! (Going price of $550 - $70 off for the Black Friday sale ==> $480... yeah... still ridiculous.) But, obviously I did. (Sucker, I know.) The sound quality is about as pure as you can get. If you are a fan of heavy bass, I think the Sony wins a bit there. But, these have a nice punch as well, in addition to a better overall balanced, crisp, pure sound across the spectrum. And, I didn't think I was going to fall for the spatial audio gimmick, but yes, it is actually very cool. (I can't tell you how often I've taken the headphones off just to make sure I wasn't accidentally pumping RATM over my Sonos! Fooled every time. It really gives you a full 3D audio immersion that makes you forget that you're listening through headphones. It simulates a fixed audio source impressively well. Music with spatial audio enabled is actually really good.) All of that is great, but the direct support in all of Apple devices had me convinced to give them a try. So, I hate to admit it, but I'm loving them. If you are purely after a set of headphones for audio streaming purposes, and don't care about Apple device integration, I'm not sure I can justify paying for these when you can get the Sony and be just as happy for much less money, IMO. (And, besides, some of the advanced audio features may not be available for you if you aren't at least an iPhone user. Be sure to check your own device for compatibility!) The seamless support for those of us sunk deep into the Apple ecosphere of products works really well. I have a Macbook Pro, Apple TV, Apple Watch, iPad and of course an iPhone, and the seamless auto connect to ALL of these devices is quite impressive. Overall, definite thumbs up here. Very happy with these. It's given my music collection a whole new life. I've been going back and listening to classics I haven't listened to in decades. They sound that good.

Airpod pros are great but nothing beats a good pair of over the ear headphones. The sound is amazing, the noise cancelling is the best I have used so far and the confort is excellent. I wear these everyday for about 2 hours and they never hurt my head or cause any pain. To be fair though, they are heavier than I would like and. That is probably the biggest downside to these. Overall great product and if you can get them on sale, even better.

Spent hours at a local Best Buy testing all the different headphones and this was the option by far. Fantastic noise cancelling, great sound quality, and the most comfort. Have had these for a little over a year and they still look and feel great. Only issue I've had has been with keeping the ear cushions clean since they are fabric, but that's a minor issue compared to what it provides.
