    Yes, it is very expensive compared to the competition. But you get the best of the best in noise canceling. Used it in multiple flights, and barely hear airplane noise.

    Purchasing the older Lightning version Open Box was well worth it. The first pair was still connected to the previous owner's account, after manually resetting the Airpods, they were no longer able to be seen in Find My. Returned for a replacement and reset the Airpods prior to pairing to my account. All is well. I'd say these are worth it at Open Box prices.
