Amazing sound an noise cancelation a bit overpriced but it’s a quality product.

I'm a musician, and certainly an audiophile. I have a partner with the Sony WH-1000XM4, and I've been drooling over her headphones ever since. "Do I get myself a pair of those? Or the Airpod Max?" I spent months going back and forth. It was that $550 price that kept me from jumping in. I thought I was ridiculous paying that much for headphones! (Going price of $550 - $70 off for the Black Friday sale ==> $480... yeah... still ridiculous.) But, obviously I did. (Sucker, I know.) The sound quality is about as pure as you can get. If you are a fan of heavy bass, I think the Sony wins a bit there. But, these have a nice punch as well, in addition to a better overall balanced, crisp, pure sound across the spectrum. And, I didn't think I was going to fall for the spatial audio gimmick, but yes, it is actually very cool. (I can't tell you how often I've taken the headphones off just to make sure I wasn't accidentally pumping RATM over my Sonos! Fooled every time. It really gives you a full 3D audio immersion that makes you forget that you're listening through headphones. It simulates a fixed audio source impressively well. Music with spatial audio enabled is actually really good.) All of that is great, but the direct support in all of Apple devices had me convinced to give them a try. So, I hate to admit it, but I'm loving them. If you are purely after a set of headphones for audio streaming purposes, and don't care about Apple device integration, I'm not sure I can justify paying for these when you can get the Sony and be just as happy for much less money, IMO. (And, besides, some of the advanced audio features may not be available for you if you aren't at least an iPhone user. Be sure to check your own device for compatibility!) The seamless support for those of us sunk deep into the Apple ecosphere of products works really well. I have a Macbook Pro, Apple TV, Apple Watch, iPad and of course an iPhone, and the seamless auto connect to ALL of these devices is quite impressive. Overall, definite thumbs up here. Very happy with these. It's given my music collection a whole new life. I've been going back and listening to classics I haven't listened to in decades. They sound that good.

My store does not fail me in my purchases, everything that is electronic or tastes that I indulge in, this is one more purchase that I loved from my favorite store, Best Buy.

My favorite over the ear headphones! I’ve had my Airpods Max for 9 months now, & I’m still obsessed like I was on day one. The noise cancellation feature is amazing, and when transparency mode is turned on I still can’t hear a lot of background noise. I think these headphones are an investment everyone should at least consider!!!

They are not perfect but they sound great and the noise canceling was a game changer on a 16 hour flight. The case js stupid though and I wish you could actually turn them off instead of putting them in the case to put to sleep. However if you’re locked into the apple ecosystem it’s definitely worth it. When I wear them connected to my apple tv I always catch myself checking to make sure the sound is coming from the headphones and not my sonos arc because the they sound so full

The top notch quality of this product is evident, inside and out. From the materials used to construct the device, to the sound quality produced, these headphones are worth every penny. Even the noice cancelling feature is amazing. When you have it off, you can still hear your music crystal clear with no compromise on the quality of the sound; and when you have the noise cancelling feature on, it's practically like the world has been shut off around you. Take it from an audiophile like me (who, by the way, normally hates over-the-ear headphones and prefers in-ear earbuds), you just can't go wrong with these. Only flaw (for me at least) is it still uses the lightning charging interface, rather than a usb-c. Thankfully, Apple finally came out with ones that use usb-c now.

Amazing product! When these were announced I thought they looked bad but turns out they sound amazing, and they are really comfortable! Would recommend if you listen to music a lot or for studying!
