To give some perspective, I game a lot so I am used to many different kinds of headsets / noice cancellation. These headphones are superior. I also travel a lot for work. Whether walking through the airport or avoiding a crying baby, you should definitely give these a try. The biggest downside I have is that the ear padding will actually get dirty over time. You can carefully clean it but this is definitely inconvenient.

I got tired of trying to troubleshoot a somewhat complex setup to get bluetooth sound to his Bose headphones. Airpod Max make it super easy for him to connect, even with some physical disabilities.
