It helps for distracted minds and people wanting to get into the zone. I tried them out at bestbuy and everything was silenced. Great service from bestbuy. I brought straight from the catalogue and it was ready to pick up with my ID.

But, these overear headphones are hands down the best. Quality, and noise cancellation is zero to none. The sound quality is that of a movie theater in your ears. They are pricey, but as the expression goes, “you get what you pay for.”

If you’re thinking about getting them, just do it. I read a lot of reviews of people saying they were heavy but I havent noticed that personally.

Yet I found these headphones to be amazing. The noise cancellation along with its compatibility with all my apple products make it a natural instrument to have with a busy life. Con would be buying the additional cord $35 to use for audio jack port when bluetooth isn't available.
