Great headphones

I use them every day for work Zoom calls and personal use. The toggle between transparency and noise canceling is great, however I think my favorite feature is how easy it is to pair these headphones to both Apple and other devices rather quickly. Definitely worth the price.

Tested Sony XM4s, great ANC but the sound quality was much left to be desired. The Airpods Max is a combination of the bests in the Sennheiser & Sony's. Great sound quality and superb ANC. Just get it if you're willing to shell out the money.

They're decent, but overpriced.

They have a wider sound stage and the lower frequencies are more pronounced compared to the AirPod Pro's. They're easy to use - what you'd expect from any Apple product, but they're too heavy for long-term use. The AirPod Pro's are more comfortable for me and even sound better. At this price point, you won't find anything easier to use, but you will find superior audio quality from other brands.
