She used beats solos before and these are far superior. The mic quality is really good. I can hardly hear background noise when I'm on the phone with her with these on.

The build quality is very premium compared to other premium headphone. As far as for the gym, I would recommend buying silicone covers for the ear cuffs to add some sweat resistance.

I listen to blues and it’s like sitting right there with the group. While the quality of the sound is great I was most impressed by the noise cancellation these have. My son turned up the volume on a movie using a 5.1 sound system while I was listening to music and I couldn’t tell until I removed them.
