Place on your head and it automatically connects to her I-Pad. It also has different modes for limiting outside noise. She is thrilled with her new headphones!

Over the head vs in the ear?……

So they were returned. But my son did say the quality of the headphones was excellent. He just wasn’t a fan of the weight, bulkiness of them sitting on his head.

My wife loves them and they look great. Have run into some issues of. people having a hard time hearing here speak over the phone with this one. We might have a setting that needs to be adjusted. Anyways, great great headphones so worth the extra money
