When the headphones are placed inside the case, there is no way to check the charging percentage. To see the battery level, the device must be taken out of the pouch, which feels unintuitive for a premium product. There is also a noticeable amount of sound leakage, especially at moderate to higher volumes. This may be a concern in shared or quiet environments. Additionally, I experienced frequent audio interruptions while using the AirPods Max at the gym, particularly during weightlifting sessions involving barbells. I am not certain whether this issue is specific to my unit or common across other devices. Despite this, the overall sound quality is good and meets expectations in terms of clarity and depth. Overall, while the audio performance is strong, usability and consistency issues reduce the overall experience, especially considering the price point.
