I’ve tried so many headphones—Sony, the buds, etc, and I keep coming back to these. I’m taking a star off for the price (and because the last model tended to die after two years), but they really can’t be beat in terms of noise cancellation. They can feel tight if you’re not used to it, but if you don’t mind the feeling of your head being “hugged,” then these are perfect. They’re also heavier than usual headphones are, which some may see as a downside, but honestly, I just find them more “substantial” and harder to break!

The AirPods Max by Apple are premium over-ear headphones that focus on sound quality, comfort, and seamless connection with Apple devices. Right away, the build quality stands out. The stainless-steel frame and soft mesh headband feel sturdy and comfortable, and the ear cushions are soft enough for long listening sessions without hurting your ears. Sound quality is where these headphones really shine. The audio is clear, balanced, and detailed, with strong bass that doesn’t overpower the vocals or instruments. Whether you’re listening to music, watching movies, or playing games, everything sounds immersive and high-quality. One of the best features is the noise cancellation. It blocks out background noise extremely well, making it easier to focus at school, while traveling, or in busy places. Transparency mode is also super useful because it lets you hear what’s happening around you without taking the headphones off. The biggest downside is the price—they’re definitely expensive compared to other headphones. They’re also a bit heavier than some competitors, which might bother some people during very long use. Overall, AirPods Max are amazing headphones if you want top-tier sound, strong noise cancellation, and smooth connection with Apple devices. If the price fits your budget, they’re a great premium choice.

I was hesitant to spend this much on headphones, but the AirPods Max in Purple have completely won me over. The build quality is unlike anything I've used before — the aluminum ear cups feel solid yet surprisingly comfortable over long listening sessions, and the headband sits perfectly without any pressure points. Sound quality is exceptional. 2 main issues: - Not good for any sort of call. Phone call, zoom, google meeting. Meant for music listening exclusively. - The size, they're not the most travel-friendly headphones. But honestly, for home and office use, they're hard to beat. The USB-C upgrade is a welcome change and charges quickly. Battery life has been solid, I get through full workdays without needing to recharge.

The Apple AirPods Max USB‑C are an incredible product when it comes to music quality. The sound is rich, immersive, and detailed — perfect for everything from casual listening to deep focus sessions. The design is sleek and stylish, making them stand out whether I’m at home, in the office, or on the go. They’re also easy to use, with seamless pairing and controls that feel natural. The battery life is impressive, lasting long enough that I don’t have to worry about charging constantly. The only drawback is the weight — after longer listening sessions, they can feel a bit heavy compared to other headphones. Still, the overall experience is so good that it’s worth it for the sound quality and premium build. Overall, the AirPods Max USB‑C deliver top‑tier audio and design, with just a little trade‑off in comfort due to the weight

I recently got the Apple AirPods Max (USB-C) in Starlight, and they are absolutely impressive. The sound quality is rich and immersive, with clear highs, deep lows, and excellent spatial audio that makes music and movies feel much more alive. Noise cancellation is exceptional, effectively blocking out background distractions, while the transparency mode lets you hear your surroundings naturally when needed. The build quality feels premium, as expected from Apple, and the Starlight color is subtle yet stylish. Comfort is surprisingly good for long listening sessions, thanks to the well-padded headband and ear cups. Battery life is solid, and the USB-C charging makes it convenient to keep them powered up. They are definitely expensive, but the combination of sound quality, noise cancellation, and overall design makes the AirPods Max worth it for anyone who wants a top-tier headphone experience. For me, they’ve elevated everyday listening and made immersive audio more enjoyable than ever.

I’ve been really impressed with the Apple AirPods Max (USB‑C) – Midnight. The sound quality is amazing and the noise cancellation works really well, especially in busy or loud places. They feel very premium and comfortable to wear, even for long periods. The Midnight color also looks really sleek and clean. The only downside is that they’re a bit expensive, but overall they’re great headphones if you want excellent sound and quality.

The AirPods Max are really good overall. The sound quality is excellent and the noise cancellation works well, especially in noisy environments. They feel premium and connect seamlessly with my Apple devices, which I love. They are a bit heavier than expected, and the price is definitely high, which is why I wouldn’t say they’re perfect. But the comfort is still good for long listening sessions, and the audio quality makes up for a lot. Even with a few downsides, I’m still satisfied with my purchase. If you’re deep in the Apple ecosystem and want great sound and strong noise cancellation, these are a solid choice.

AirPods Max Review: Premium Sound, Premium Price The Good: Exceptional Sound Quality: AirPods Max deliver a truly immersive audio experience with rich, detailed sound across the spectrum. Industry-Leading Noise Cancellation: Active Noise Cancellation effectively blocks out distractions, allowing for focused listening. Spatial Audio with Dynamic Head Tracking: Creates a 3D soundscape that moves with you, enhancing movies and music. Comfortable Fit: The breathable mesh canopy and soft earcups provide a comfortable fit for extended listening sessions. Seamless Apple Ecosystem Integration: Effortlessly connects with other Apple devices via iCloud. The Bad: Exorbitant Price: AirPods Max come with a hefty price tag, making them a significant investment. Smart Case Offers Limited Protection: The included case provides minimal protection from scratches and impacts. Heavy Weight: Can feel somewhat heavy on the head during prolonged use. Limited Customization: No user-adjustable EQ settings. Overall: AirPods Max are premium headphones that deliver exceptional sound quality and a truly immersive listening experience. However, the high price and limited customization options may deter some buyers. Who are they for? Apple enthusiasts who prioritize a seamless integration with their Apple ecosystem. Audiophiles seeking high-fidelity sound quality and immersive features. Professionals who need to focus in noisy environments. Recommendation: If you're looking for the best-sounding wireless headphones and are willing to pay a premium price, AirPods Max are a strong contender. However, carefully consider your budget and whether the advanced features justify the cost. Note: This is a general overview. Individual experiences may vary. I love how they fit. They might be a little heavy, but since the ear cups are so comfortable, it is not an issue. I can wear them with glasses too, unlike my Beats Studio Pros. I'm impressed with the beautiful sound quality and the easy connectivity with all Apple products.

The Apple AirPods Max are simply outstanding. From the moment you put them on, the build quality and comfort stand out. The memory foam ear cushions provide a snug yet breathable fit, and the stainless steel frame feels premium without being too heavy. The sound quality is where these truly shine. The spatial audio creates an immersive listening experience, and the active noise cancellation (ANC) is among the best in the industry. Whether you’re blocking out background noise on a plane or just enjoying music at home, the ANC delivers. Transparency mode is also a game-changer, seamlessly letting in outside sound when needed. Battery life is solid at around 20 hours per charge, and the integration with Apple devices is seamless. Switching between my iPhone, iPad, and Mac is effortless, thanks to Apple’s ecosystem magic. The Digital Crown for volume and playback control is intuitive and feels great to use. If I could add one thing, it would be a better case—one that takes advantage of charging capabilities. While the current Smart Case offers basic protection, an upgraded version that supports charging on the go would be a welcome enhancement. The only other downside is the price, but if you’re looking for premium sound, comfort, and top-tier noise cancellation, the AirPods Max are absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

These headphones are super nice. The appearance is super slick, and I feel really cool and trendy every time I wear them. The blue color is the perfect shade and looks exactly how it looks online. The sound quality is pretty good, not as good as my AirPod Pros, but still pretty good. I like that they offer both transparency mode and noise-canceling mode, which is perfect for on-the-go use and also when I need to focus on studying. They are a little heavy and tend to slip around a bit. The battery life is good, and they charge very fast. They are a little clunky and hard to travel with, but that's ok. I wear them 24/7 because they are easy to slip on and connect to my phone instantly. I bought them on Black Friday sale, which took the cost down a lot. I definitely recommend purchasing this product on sale. Overall, I would recommend this product to other viewers.

These sound great and are very comfortable. I like that the ear cushions are attached with magnets so they are easily removed and cleaned after a workout. I don't know why there's no Apple logo or any kind of branding on a $550 product, but they still look nice and it just makes them easier to decorate them yourself with decals, stickers, or covers. I keep the noise cancellation feature on when I play my music, so it sounds the best, so when someone comes up to talk to me, I like to press both the pause button and the other button to switch from noise cancellation to transparency mode (allows you to hear all outside sounds clearly as if you weren't wearing the headphones) easily at the same time. And then when I'm done talking to that person, I press both buttons at once again and all the outside noise goes away and my music continues. It's a trivial but lovely experience. The battery life is great in my experience. I use these everyday for hours at a time but I've never had to worry about them dying on me. I also love how easily they connect to my iPhone when I put them on my head.

The AirPods Max deliver rich, detailed sound with incredible depth. Whether you're listening to classical, hip-hop, or podcasts, the custom-built 40mm drivers provide crisp highs, natural mids, and deep bass without distortion—even at high volumes. Apple’s computational audio, powered by the H1 chip in each ear cup, dynamically tunes the sound in real-time for optimal balance. The spatial audio with dynamic head tracking is particularly impressive for movies and Apple TV+, creating a theater-like experience in your ears. Noise Cancellation & Transparency: Best-in-Class Apple’s Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is right up there with Bose and Sony—if not better. It blocks out city noise, office chatter, or airplane rumble effortlessly. A quick switch to Transparency Mode makes it feel like you're not wearing headphones at all, letting in ambient sound naturally without being harsh. Comfort & Design: Luxurious, But Bulky The AirPods Max feel like a premium product—from the aluminum ear cups to the breathable mesh headband. They’re not the lightest over-ear headphones, but the weight is well-balanced. The memory foam ear cushions are plush and don’t get too hot during long sessions. Still, some users may find the weight (~385g) noticeable over time, especially compared to plastic competitors like the Sony WH-1000XM5.

After weeks of daily use, I can confidently say the AirPods Max have transformed my listening experience. While the price tag initially gave me pause, the quality and thoughtful design have won me over completely. Sound Quality That Delivers The audio is simply spectacular. Whether I'm listening to orchestral music, podcasts, or bass-heavy tracks, the sound is crisp, balanced, and immersive. The computational audio works seamlessly in the background, and I notice details in songs I've heard hundreds of times before. These headphones make everything sound better. Noise Cancellation Done Right The Active Noise Cancellation is industry-leading. I can work in busy coffee shops, on planes, or anywhere with distractions and feel completely isolated in my own audio world. The Transparency Mode is equally impressive – it's so natural that I often forget I'm wearing headphones when talking to someone. Comfort for the Long Haul Despite their weight, the AirPods Max are remarkably comfortable for extended wear. The mesh headband distributes pressure evenly, and the memory foam ear cushions create a perfect seal without feeling too tight. I regularly wear them for 3-4 hour stretches without discomfort. Seamless Apple Integration If you're in the Apple ecosystem, the magic is real. They pair instantly, switch between my iPhone, iPad, and Mac effortlessly, and spatial audio with head tracking adds an incredible dimension to movies and supported music. The digital crown is intuitive and feels more precise than touch controls on other headphones. The Bottom Line Are they expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? For me, absolutely. The AirPods Max excel at what matters most – exceptional sound quality, best-in-class noise cancellation, and that signature Apple experience where everything just works. If you're serious about audio and already invested in Apple products, these headphones are a premium choice that delivers on their promise. Rating: 9/10 – A near-perfect listening experience for those willing to invest in quality. Also on a side note my wife has been using them lately as well and looks like we will be getting a second pair!

Incredibly high build quality, which is important for headphones at this price point. Effectively identical in sound and ANC to the Bose QC Ultras, although those have perhaps better bass compare to the Max. If you already have an iPhone it should be a no-brainer: get the Max over the QC Ultra. AppleCare+ for the year was cheap and gives peace of mind. The ability to instantly connect upon removal from the case is really nice, and the battery life is excellent. I don’t find them particularly heavy, but they are undoubtedly heavier than the Bose or Sony equivalents. The modular design allows for super easy cleaning of the cups. I was skeptical about purchasing the Max even though I have an iPhone, as historically I’ve used Bose - no need, these are just as good and have quality of life extras that improve the experience on iOS.

I’ve always wanted the AirPods Max, so I decided to buy this. I haven’t been disappointed. I’m an audiophile and I really enjoy the sound quality of this headphones. When I first got it, it was a bit uncomfortable but after a few days, it became more comfortable. I use them every where. The noise cancellation and transparency mode is out of this world. I also enjoy the Spatial Audio. I believe one reason why people talk down on them is the price, I would recommend.
