Sound quality is a solid 8/10. Seamless connectivity with Apple eco system plus the aluminum slick designing it the selling point. I really like the first gen space gray, but this midnight blue is the closest.

They are phenomenal, trust the resources that mark this as a good pair of headphones. I truly only recommend it though if you are fully invested into the apple ecosystem, they are no longer the “top of the line” so I would go with other brands if you care solely on music quality but the convenience of the apple ecosystem inclusion made it easy for me to pull the trigger and get one. Ideal for traveling on airplanes, you can't hear any noise from the airplane engine and it's very comfortable.

Bought these 2 days into my family's week long visit to the house. My work requires that I be up at 4am and well rested, which means I'm in bed while the party is still steaming along. These headphones allow me to go from the noise of 6 toddlers running around having fun, to being fully entrenched in any soundscape of my choosing at the press of a button. Truly remarkable active noise cancelling.

It automatically switches from one device to another. You don't need to turn it off or turn it on. It automatically does it for you. The noice cancelling is epic, I can't even hear my friends when they're calling out my name.
