I’m not a big fan of these AirPods the old once are better

have second pair to exchange due to crackling and popping noise when using

I mean they were great, but they just kept falling out of my ears :/

Wasn’t happy with noise cancellation or how they fit in my ear!

Sound quality is great as in I can hear music more clearly (even hidden notes), noise cancellation works as expected (to the point I can only wear one when I’m out and about so that I can still hear my surroundings), arrived literally next day to my door like most of my orders from Best Buy, and both the pods and case hold a pretty decent charge. I gauge whether or not the charge is decent by how long I can wear them without charging before they die (I’ve gone about 16 hrs or so on a day when they weren’t used for longer than 2hrs consistently) so on a regular day I have them in for at least 6 hrs, skipping and pausing several songs throughout (which obviously drains battery faster), and they still didn’t die for at least 6-7 hrs coming off a full charge and being used consistently for all that time including calls. Being that within a week of me buying them, I dropped my case in the literal ocean (still worked totally fine even without a protective case so the water proof thing is certified), dropped one pod in a sink full of water and soap (still worked totally fine), and then had the audacity to lose the entire case to the ocean yet again in the same week… I beg you to spring for the warranty lol as a responsible adult who felt invincible- I did not and now my case is sleeping with the fishes. $100 spent in the Apple store on vacation replacing my case was not fun at all. Cons: Apple should honestly allow one free case replacement because- if you lose the case (which doesn’t come with any hooks or loops to secure it to yourself), you can’t locate your pods unless they’re inside of it (find my iPhone will only locate the case) so if you lose your pods but still have the case- they’re useless until you get another case. Strongly recommend buying a protective case with a lanyard/cellphone string/keychain ring attached to it because no matter what they tell you, waking up in a cold sweat looking for an AirPods case is a low point you don’t want to experience but probably will because: LIFE. Pros: charge quickly, can check battery level for pods and case from battery widget on your phone if they’re close enough to each other, both pods charge individually so even if one dies- you still have the other, connects seamlessly to Bluetooth quickly even on the beach, crisp sound quality immersive enough to hear vinyl cracks if you listen to oldies, lightweight, fit comfortably in the ear and come with other size bud inserts to fit better, slim design so they don’t take away from an outfit and can be hidden easily by hair if you’re listening to music in a social setting but don’t want to look like a jerk.

Easy falling off nothing spectacular maybe below average for the money

Buds were great. Sadly the "magsafe case" is worthless. It has a clip to hang it or yor bag, etc. My daughter had these less than a week before the case popped open and she lost them. If you get them, clip the case "inside" a bag to be safe so when they fall out you can find them.

these air pods are for listening to music and not answering the phone
