I did have to change the tips to the smaller sized tips but otherwise that's the entire "hassle" I had setting them up. Unbox the airpods, have your iphone nearby and unlocked, then click yes to pair and you're good to go. Sound is great and the noise canceling works wonderfully. Little pricey overall but within price point of all comparable headphone prices.
