I would recommend changing the tips if they keep falling out. I also got one of my earphones wet and they still work so they seem to be durable. The feature to track your EarPods also comes in handy but I wish it was a bit louder when you ping them. Overall I would recommend

Pros are amazing but trouble with them falling out

I also have the reg air pods and have never had an issue with them staying in. My job requires a lot of movement as well as taking calls or conf calls and so decided to upgrade. Sound is amazing however they would just fall out while sitting on a plane or walking. I am giving the 3rd generation a go and hope they stay in with no problem and get better sound quality than the reg air pods.

Great sound quality, I love to hear the music I love with these head phones. These headphones have great battery life, are comfortable in my ears and awesome noise cancellation so they are just the best when you are a very loud setting.

Exceptionally adequate

Bass response is better than standard AirPods, but mids and highs are all mushed together. Not a bad mush - so far as mushes are concerned - but lacking the sparkle that comes with separation. Build quality: Apple. "Apple" is the best descriptor here. Denser than standard AirPods, which does feel more premium, but nothing to write home about Noise cancelling: NICE. This is where the AirPods Pro spread their stubby, q-tip wings and soar. They pass the plane test. If you want the best sound quality: B&O EX. If you want the best noise cancelling: Sony XM4. If you want a non-offensive middle ground: Apple AirPods Pro. This applies to both generations.
