I can’t hear any background noise when I wear these which is the point. Great product.

Much better transparency and mildly better noise cancelling vs first gen pros. Sound quality is about the same, maybe slightly better. I don’t like the adaptive noise cancelling you can’t turn off. There is a dedicated adaptive noise canceling mode, but even in the normal noise cancelling mode it still adjusts the level of noise cancelling based on what it thinks is right. Also, the grills for the transparency/call microphones get full very easily and you need to clean them out with tape or the transparency gets awful. First gens did not have either of these issues.

I like that when you talk its very clear and all the modes that it has are handy , like for when your in a loud area you can put the noise cancellation and you cant hear a thing.

Love the noise blocking feature and battery life is good.

These were bought to replace some original airpods that were working great, unfortunately one found their way onto the train tracks so I needed some new ones. I must admit it was a little weird getting used to them for taking calls. The noise cancelling features etc were great for listening to music but the listening and speaking on calls was definitely strange to begin with (given it sounds like you're echoing), I guess given how these really do jam in your ear rather than just sit there. I'm a few weeks in and getting there but if you are used to the old ones and primarily use airpods for taking calls on your cell then I'd strongly consider just sticking to the old version.

The best. Excellence sound quality, the battery life work for long time, maybe need charger tree time for week.

I have had all of them and these are by far the best ones. Sound quality is amazing and battery life is even better.

I bought them because I was interested in the hearing aid option. They really do make a difference. Sound quality is awesome. I've only begun to understand how sophisticated these are.

What I expect from Apple. Great sound, neat advances in tech, and a little better battery life. Upgraded for the first pros and I love em.
