You need these if you have an Apple Vision Pro

I bought the 2nd pair because of the improved noise cancellation in the 2nd generation. I never thought it would be worth upgrading to the latest USB-C version (The previous versions of AirPods Pro had a Lightning port instead of USB-C) since the sound quality was the same. But then I purchased the new Apple Vision Pro VR headset. After doing some research, I found out that only the latest USB-C AirPods Pro supports lossless audio with the Vision Pro. According to Apple, the H2 chip in the previous version of the AirPods Pro is limited to the 2.4GHz band, but the H2 chip in the latest version supports the 5GHz band of wireless frequencies. So why don’t they call it an H3 chip if it’s different? I’m not sure, but all I know is that Apple figured out a way to get even more money from me. It’s fine, since I’ll give my other 2 pairs of AirPods Pro to my children. Other than the USB-C port on the charging case and the lossless audio support with the Vision Pro, I can’t tell any difference between the sound quality between these and my previous pair. These are still the best wireless earphones I have ever used, so I don’t have any complaints. The noise cancellation is amazing. I’m not really sure what Apple could do to make these better, unless they can figure out a way to increase the battery life without making them larger. The AirPods Pro go on sale frequently, so if you’re an Apple fan and you don’t already own a pair of these (Whether or not you own a Vision Pro), I recommend grabbing them the next time they are on sale.
