Noise Isolating... Not Noise Cancelling

The gen 1's completely cancelled all surrounding noise. The gen 2's cancel some noises, not all. On an airline flight the gen 2's cancelled the plane engines but not the sound of conversations, plastic food packaging, etc... The gen 2's are noise isolating. Not noise cancelling. A definitely frustrating step backwards. Apple admits that some customers have complained about this but Apple won't allow applecare + to cover a replacement pair because the airpod pro gen 2's perform "as designed". If you're looking for total noise cancelling ear buds look elsewhere. These are a sham.
