Great product but I was expecting a better sound quality

Worst customer service experience item. Item shipped with only one ear bud then replacement order canceled 24 hours after it being placed to replace by customer service. Then called toll free customer service told did not need claim # and this was corporate customer service and even though price was higher for product they would honor price and ship me item immediately and should have item in a few days. Week later received email that they resolved my claim and it was being closed. Then got an email saying that item was canceled as well. So I went to store to return case for iPod and was told due to it being over 2 weeks they could not take the case back. The manager there resolved the return and was really helpful, but will likely never place an order online ever again

These are AirPods are very good and serves my purpose.

The air buds work without a problem and instantly pair with my phone

I purchased the above item from a local Best Buy store. They were in the Apple box with the plastic seal all around. Once home my son opened the box breaking the seal and tried to inter change the ear cushions. The ear pod fell apart. Luckily I had bought the Apple care. Went to the Apple Store and complained. They did a quality check and informed me the ear buds were fake. I said that can’t be I bought them at a Best Buy store. The tech then brought out a pair of ear buds with the case and showed me the difference. He also supplied me with a letter of certification that the ear buds were fake and flagged the serial numbers in their system. In my car I went back to Best Buy. At Best Buy the counter man throught I was pulling some type of scam. I said I have a letter from the Apple Store. The manager was called over and I was issued a refund. The manager was also able to track these ear buds as returned once before. Therefore proving someone bought the legit pair of ear buds and retuned a fake pair for the cash back. Best Buy needs to confirm returns are legit before they restock items.
