    I purchased the above item from a local Best Buy store. They were in the Apple box with the plastic seal all around. Once home my son opened the box breaking the seal and tried to inter change the ear cushions. The ear pod fell apart. Luckily I had bought the Apple care. Went to the Apple Store and complained. They did a quality check and informed me the ear buds were fake. I said that can’t be I bought them at a Best Buy store. The tech then brought out a pair of ear buds with the case and showed me the difference. He also supplied me with a letter of certification that the ear buds were fake and flagged the serial numbers in their system. In my car I went back to Best Buy. At Best Buy the counter man throught I was pulling some type of scam. I said I have a letter from the Apple Store. The manager was called over and I was issued a refund. The manager was also able to track these ear buds as returned once before. Therefore proving someone bought the legit pair of ear buds and retuned a fake pair for the cash back. Best Buy needs to confirm returns are legit before they restock items.

    Wasn’t nearly as impressed as I hoped I would be. I’ve had multiple wireless buds, headsets, etc and the sound really isn’t all that it’s hyped up to be. I assumed way more immersive tech, in addition to blocking out more noise from the outside world. If it’s your first pair, you may be a fan. :/
