After using all the earbuds in this price range these have to be my top choice while Sony link bud S is 2.

The sound is great and the features offered are superb. They would be perfect except for a serious charging problem. Every time I went to use them a day past charging, the left earbud was dead, while the right earbud had 100% power. Dropping both earbuds in the case and charging them brought both up to 100% and both worked as expected. Left in the case for an off exercise day and the left earbud was dead, 0% charge while the right was still 100%. The Case battery had over 80% charge every time. I was charging with and Apple Magsafe charger on an apple cable with an apple charger. Frustrated, I started charging it directly with and apple cable on an apple charger and the problem went away with both earbuds keeping the same charge during the normal use/store cycles. Go back to the MagSafe and the left earbud discharges within ten hours. MagSafe does not work with these earbuds. Shame on Apple for advertising them this way. I'm so frustrated with the expensive product that I quit using it altogether. More than that, the left earbud also loses it's charge if I use the air pods on my iPad in addition to my iPhone. I purchased the AppleCare package for the earbuds but it turned out to be a waste of money since there is not an Apple Store anywhere near us and online help was useless. I'm giving it two stars instead of one star because when it works, it works well. But limited to just one apple device and wired charging, the device is just too much maintenance to be useful. I will never buy another set of Air Pods from Apple. There are other Bluetooth alternatives that are much cheaper that work so much better. Very disappointed.
