Had over-the-ear Bose and while those are fantastic, these come close to matching those at a lower price. Can’t say enough good things about these.

Spatial audio with my Apple TV 4K makes it sound like it's not even coming from the headphones. And did I mention they SOUND SO GOOD

I love that I can be listening and then start a conversation with a friend and the music will stop. Let me just say that now it is not a hassle getting her to wash the dishes. She loves to wash the dishes now because she can listen to her music while doing them. Get your kids the airpods, you will see how it puts a smile on your kids face. No bad moods. Music is therapy!
