I bought these AirPods Pro 2 for my 15-year-old son on June 16, 2025, and he uses them with his iPhone for music and videos. He loves the sound—crisp with good bass. The noise cancellation is great for blocking out noise on car rides or in busy spots. They’re comfortable, stay in place, and come with different ear tip sizes. Pairing with his iPhone was instant, and switching to his iPad is easy. Battery lasts 5-6 hours, and the case keeps them going for days. Wireless charging is convenient. He hasn’t used the hearing aid feature, but it’s a nice option. Only issue? He lost an ear tip, so we replaced it. They’re pricey but durable, and he’s careful with them. They’re a hit with him. If your teen loves music or videos, they’re worth it.

I’ve been using the AirPods Pro 2 daily, and they’re fantastic! The noise cancellation is excellent, and the sound quality is clear and immersive. The fit is comfortable even during long sessions, and switching between my Apple devices is seamless. Battery life is solid, and the case charges quickly. A bit pricey, but worth it for the performance.

As a owner of the original AirPods & the AirPods Pro, I can say that Apple has outdone themselves once again. The features are vast and the iPhone integration is beyond superior. I favor the pros as they have multiple ear pieces and allow for a superior fit for a multitude of activities with out falling out like I had issues with on the original AirPods. The sound quality is superb all the way from phone conversations to blaring your favorite tunes in the gym. I really appreciate the innovative noise feature controls that have 3 different modes including Adaptive, Transparency and Noise Cancellation modes. Battery life is phenomenal for such a small package!! Super impressed! The User interface is very well organized and easy to navigate. Conversation Awareness is a great feature and the personalized spatial audio is super innovative. Great product!!!

So I’ve had the AirPods Pro Second Generation since launch and wanted to share my thoughts about them after over 2 years of daily use. I upgraded from the 1st Generation AirPods Pro, which I also had since they launched, and liked them a lot. And before that, I had the original AirPods, which I also loved. So I think it’s safe to say I’m well-credentialed in my knowledge of AirPods and their use in everyday life. I’m going to break down this review into sections: Design, Sound Quality, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency mode, battery life, experience using iOS 18 and the new features it brings to AirPods, noticeable upgrades from my first-gen AirPods Pro, whether it’s worth upgrading to from a previous pair of AirPods, whether you should choose AirPods Pro or the new AirPods 4 with ANC, and Final Thoughts. Feel free to not read all of it or skip around. I’m mainly writing this because it’s interesting to me, and hopefully, some of you in this sub will find it interesting as well.

The Apple AirPods offer excellent value with seamless connectivity, comfortable design, and solid sound quality for everyday use. The H1 chip ensures quick pairing with Apple devices, while the battery life is impressive. They’re perfect for casual listening, calls, and Apple ecosystem users, though lacking active noise cancellation.

Really great sound quality. I literally use my AirPods every single day and you can definitely see the quality improvement from the older generation AirPods. As soon as I put these in the noise cancellation worked a hundred times better and the sound is so much more crisp. The battery life is also muchhh longer than my old ones. Some days I use my AirPods for the entire day and my old ones needed a charge about halfway through the day but these last a good 2 days. I definitely think this newer generation is worth the upgrade. The only hassle is the usb charger now so I can’t just use my regular iPhone charger and have to have 2 separate cords but I’ve gotten used to it

Great noise cancellation even without music playing. The Spatial Audio is nice and even gets me from time to time. I’ll be listening to music and jump when a sound seemingly comes from behind me. The connectivity is seamless for Apple devices with plenty of customization for handoffs to other Apple devices, noise cancellation as well as controls for skipping songs pausing etc. The case has good wireless charging, but admittedly has issues with battery life for me at least. I’ve used other brands as well as non pro AirPods and the battery life on this case has been the shortest of the bunch. The buds themselves have never let me down during use on flights, yard work, wood working etc. that’s said if I use these even semi-frequently I need to make sure I’m charging every couple of days where as it was often 2 weeks between charges before.

I’ve had my AirPods Pro Gen 1 for a while, and they were absolutely amazing—until I lost the left ear bud. I tried and picked up a pair of google earbuds, but after a short time, I quickly remembered why AirPods are the standard. I returned the google buds and grabbed the Gen 2s, and I couldn’t be happier! These earbuds are incredible. The setup is super user-friendly, and they fit perfectly, comfortable fit that stays in place even during workouts. The audio quality is top-notch. The noise cancellation is a game-changer too; it’s so effective that I can block out the world, whether I’m at the gym, on a plane. The battery life is great. The design is sleek and clean and you can now control the volume using Siri or by sliding your fingers over the stem. I use them daily for workouts, frequent phone calls, and even travel. Improved Sound: Deeper bass and clearer highs, plus personalized spatial audio for a more immersive experience. Better Battery Life: You get up to 6 hours of playtime with ANC on and 30 hours with the case. Find My: The case has a speaker, making it easier to track down if lost. Comfortable Fit: New ear tips and a fit test ensure better comfort and sound isolation. Cons: Expensive: They’re pricey, which may be a dealbreaker for some. No Major Design Changes: They look almost the same as the originals, so don’t expect a new look. No USB-C Charging: Still using Lightning instead of USB-C, which is a bit annoying if you already have USB-C devices. Touch Controls Can Be Tricky: Sometimes the controls don’t respond perfectly, especially for volume adjustments. Bottom Line: If you’re an Apple user and want premium sound and noise cancellation, the AirPods Pro 2 are hard to beat, but the high price and minor design flaws might be a turnoff for some.

I am coming from the Airpod generation 2s and this was HUGE upgrade. Much more comfortable, works seamlessly on IOS, and the noise cancellation is genuinely impressive. I feel like I just went underwater when I pop them in. Battery life and bud life seems to be pretty good, nothing shocking there. Ultimately a bit pricy but I imagine I'll be using these for years. If you're like me and spend a lot of time doing monotonous task like yard work, you'll appreciate being able to comfortably listen to music or a podcast, and also to be able to chat with people as the noise cancellation adjust to be more transparent when you speak.

I love these AirPods. Being able to switch out the rubber tips to fit your ears is one big positive. My favorite feature is the ability to switch between transparency mode and noise cancellation super easily. I use these to work out all the time and it’s nice to switch between those two modes to be able to talk to people without removing them from your ear or just drown everyone out. The battery has been great too I’ve had these for about a month and I’ve charged the case only 1 time.

My only small complaint is that the touch controls can feel a bit sensitive, but overall they’ve worked really well for me and I’m happy with the purchase.

I've settled for "lower quality" ear buds in the past. With the OTC hearing aid capability built into these and a sale price I jumped in to this much more expensive (for me) option. I'm glad I did. I did need to change the earpiece on one ear to fit properly. Removing the medium one that came pre-mounted and swapping in the large one was easy to do once I got over the nervousness of taking the piece off. The sound quality is very clean and balanced across the audio range. They also offer spacial sound so you can feel surrounded by the audio you're hearing. They stop the streaming audio when you're having a conversation automatically after a couple seconds. They cut out background noise to a fair extent. They also can give you a basic hearing test which seems to approximate the last "official" one that I had. I've also set them up for the hearing aid feature, but I'm not sure they're doing exactly what I'd hoped. I'll need to fiddle with the settings a bit more. Charging is relatively fast with the provided cable or using inductive charger, and battery life seems to be pretty good, too. No real complaints from me.
