She does prefer the dedicated hearing aids because they're more discreet and as a teacher having airpods in during class isn't a good look, but she's extremely happy with the sound quality. Head gestures is a nice feature if I want to decline a call without speaking or pulling out my phone. The noise canceling is great, I frequently use mine during flights and it pushes even the airplanes engine noise WAY into the background. It's not 100% gone but if you've got music or any kind of audio you're not going to notice the background noise on a flight.
