The 1st gen I had were working fine after many years and I expect these to last a long time as Apple products usually do. I find the transparency feature nice. Battery life is excellent.

Also, the feature where if someone talks to me, the volume of what I am listening to lowers is really cool. The battery last forever!!!!

New 2nd pro so good

Now I have the 2nd gen pro, and noise canceling is good and are better and confortable.

The sound cancellation is great. The only issue I had was getting a proper fit to use the hearing assistance. After it worked I did the hearing test that showed my hearing was decent.

Very comfortable and the noise cancelation feature is great while mowing the lawn. I like the transparent mode for office time so I'm not ignoring others sneaking up on me. Wish the battery lasted longer.
