I’ve never used the regular air pods before. I do like the rubber tips for a secure fit. USB C connection is a major plus since I have the pro 15.

Great aibuds for running or playing sports.

The sound is nice and crisp, the noise cancellation is top nodge and the airbuds stayed in my ear the whole time.

Noise cancellation doesn’t compare to a good “over the ear” headphones, but is noticeable. Controls are automatically installed on your iPhone when first paired.

Having come from the original pros these definitely perform better in noise cancelling and audio quality. New hearing modes are nice. Also previously owned lightning version of AirPods Pro 2 and there is no difference between versions other than what cable you use to charge so unless there is something wrong with your lightning case AirPods Pro 2 there is no reason to upgrade to the USC-C versions.
