Airpods as hearing aide

The apple hearing test and profile application has given my mother another alternative vs simple hearing amplifier use. She said the Airpods have a more natural sound because the hearing test helps attenuate the amplification. All in all, a good option for someone who has trouble with traditional hearing aides.

Definite improvement over previous version

Automatic volume adjustment based on ambient nose and pause for converstation features are a welcomed addition. Fit (staying in place) is still an issue, particularly when exercising, but this is easily remedied with 3rd party silicone ear hooks.
