Unable to complete hearing test

In order to use the pods as a hearing assist, you need to complete the hearing test using the pods. Have attempted this test more than one dozen times using both the iphone settings and the health app. It has never completed the test despite indicating that all parameters are OK. I spent about an hour on the phone with Apple tech support and apparently(?) they are unaware of this problem despite the fact that a single on line search turned up a site with 79 identical reported problems. If you are thinking of getting them for the other features, I would recommend them. If you are getting them for the hearing assist feature, good luck.

I started with the original AirPods and upgraded to each new available ear buds. The sound quality is great and noise canceling exceptional. I use them at work and haven’t had any problems.
